* ''RatchetAndClank'': Ratchet has a problem with destroying spaceships for no discernible reason. He's [[AcePilot capable of handling them just fine in a dogfight]], and they don't seem to have mechanical malfunctions, but even [[WordOfGod Insomniac themselves]] have admitted that ''they don't know'' why he crashed that first one. * Any main building in a RogerCorman film from his Poe-adaptation years can be expected to go up in spectacular flames by the end. One notable exception, Film/{{TheTombOfLigeia}}, has it destroyed by a flood instead. Corman later said that he chose a flood only because he was tired of ending every film with flames.
