* ''Series/WonderWoman'': As far as Wonder Woman is concerned, she's wearing an indestructible warrior's uniform that announces her status as an ambassador and carries a truly formidable arsenal of a [[WeaponizedHeadgear razor sharp tiara]], [[SuperStrength belt of strength]], and lasso of truth. To everyone else, she's a [[HelloNurse drop dead]] [[MsFanservice gorgeous]] woman in a strapless bathing suit.

* In ''Disney/{{TheLittleMermaid}}'' when Ariel is first turned human, she is wearing nothing but her SeashellBra, as ShapeShiftingExcludesClothing. [[OurNudityisDifferent Since that's the the only article of clothing that's considered necessary in mermaid society]], [[JustifiedTrope Ariel sees no problem with walking around the beach wearing nothing but a bra]]. She does end up wearing a [[ImprovisedClothes makeshift evening gown that Scuttle made out of a damaged sail]] after he tells her that she has to dress like a human instead of a mermaid, and dresses pretty modestly for the rest of the movie.

* ''Webcomic/TheNoordegraafFiles'' has Akila. She's a [[NatureSpirit nymph]] that has no taboo against nudity, and it is stated she'd prefer not to wear clothes, but does so out of respect for Katrina's dignity. Even then, the clothes are not very covering.

* Webcomic/OzyAndMillie: Millie occasinally dances naked in the rain, but the biggest reaction it ever got out of Ozy was a sarcastic comment.

* In TheLittleMermaid when Ariel first turns human she is naked aside from her SeashellBra. [[OurNudityisDifferent Since those are the only articles of clothing mermaids consistently wear, she doesn't seem to care that she's walking around naked on a beach where people could potentially see her]].She does put on a [[ImprovisedClothes gown made from a damaged sail]] after Skuttle tells her she needs to dress like a human instead of a mermaid, and she dresses pretty modestly for the rest of the film.
