* Subverted in ''PrisonBreak'' when [[spoiler:Michael and Lincoln's father]] appears to be an innocent bystander in the wrong place at the wrong time when Paul Kellerman is about to try to kill Lincoln. Kellerman gets ready to kill the old man, but can't even turn around before copping a shovel to the back of the head.
