* Potentially taken to absurd levels in ''VideoGame/AgarestSenki''. If you pick properly with each generation of characters, the fifth generation's hero (Rex) will be 1/8th Human, 1/16th Syrium, 1/16th [[LittleBitBeastly Neocolom]], 1/8th [[OurElvesAreDifferent DarkElf]], 1/8th [[OurElvesAreDifferent HighElf]], and 1/2 [[WingedHumanoid Harpuia]].

* In a variation, Marceline from ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'' is "only" genetically half-demon, half-human but then she also became a vampire.
** While her actual appearance was reduced to an easter egg, ''[[Recap/AdventureTimeS6E12Ocarina Ocarina]]'' reveals Jake has a bear/dog/rainicorn granddaughter.
** Four episodes after ''Ocarina''; ''[[Recap/AdventureTimeS6E16JoshuaAndMargaretInvestigations Joshua And Margaret Investigations]]'' reveals Jake himself is a NonHumanHumanoidHybrid making all his kids dog/rainicorn/shape-shifter Heinz Hybrids and further complicating his granddaughter into a bear/dog/rainicorn/shape-shifter Heinz Hybrid.

* According to WordOfGod, AncientAstronauts interbred with humans in the pre-history of the ''Manga/DragonBall'' world and a significant minority of modern humans have inherited some of their traits, [[{{Handwave}} explaining]] things like Tenshinhan's third eye and whatever the hell Chaotzu is supposed to be.

* OnePiece has LoadsAndLoadsOfRaces, such as giants, merfolk, fishmen and [[WingedHumanoid Skypeians]]. All of which seem to freely interbreed, resulting in HalfHumanHybrids and at least one being called a Wotan, a fishman/giant hybrid. Humans themselves are rather liberally defined, as the 20-foot-tall, blue-skinned, fanged and horned Gekko Moriah is apparently a man who was just born with an AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance for the boss of a horror-themed ZombieApocalypse island.

* For a specific fan example from ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'', we have [[https://derpiboo.ru/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&sbq=artist%3Abadumsquish%2C+%28safe+OR+suggestive%29 Badumsquish]] who is ''very'' fond of creating hybrids from the series. Among others he's hybridized a pony with a [[https://derpiboo.ru/1036915 toaster]] and a [[https://derpiboo.ru/939973 lamp]], a human with creatures such as [[https://derpiboo.ru/796353 timberwolves]] and [[https://derpiboo.ru/951624 windigos]], [[https://derpiboo.ru/1001513 Fluttershy with a squirrel]], [[https://derpiboo.ru/1026113 Applejack with applesauce]], and for the absolute oddest example, [[https://derpiboo.ru/1098132 Rarity with one of the dress monsters]] from ''[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E13DoPrincessesDreamOfMagicSheep Do Princesses Dream Of Magic Sheep]]''. Unsurprisingly, he's a big fan of Tatzljack as well.

* In ''VideoGame/{{Pirate101}}'', while not directly stated, it is implied that the rare and powerful bumbleloon are the result of a giant hornet somehow managing to breed with a buffaloon (which looks like a buffalo crossed with a balloon with a tiny set of wings on it's back added for maneuverability). It's also implied this happened naturally and fairly regularly since it's meat has been used to summon a powerful spirit for generations.

In science fiction and fantasy, there are lot of different species. Often they interbreed, however implausible this is (for multiple reasons). One result of this is {{Half Human Hybrid}}s, but in other cases things get [[MixAndMatchCritters a little more complicated]]. For some characters, not being too fussy about species runs in the family, with the end result being a sort of multi-species grab bag. (One common definition of "species" is a group in which interbreeding can produce ''fertile'' offspring -- try not to think too hard about it.)

* ''TheSlayers'': Zelgadis is 1/3rd human, 1/3rd golem, and 1/3rd "blue demon" (whatever that is, often [[{{Fanon}} identified as Mazoku]]). This is the result of FunctionalMagic. [[note]]It's translated "blow demon" in the novels, if that helps any. Also, WordOfGod states that Blow Demons aren't Mazoku any more than a Black Dragon is one of the Shinzoku.[[/note]]
