They either say he blew them up even though we saw the planes hit the towers, or that apparently he was somehow buddy-buddy with Bin-Laden and conspired with him to bring the towers down (the bin Laden family ''was'' connected to the CIA, though they disowned Osama). Yep, apparently he was both an EvilGenius and an idiot at the same time if you believe these conspiracy theories.
** Before that, there were those who believed he stole his first election, which arguably isn't as far-fetched (it was an ''incredibly'' complicated matter). Others go as far as saying he stole his second election as well.
** Discussions of who held the most influence in the Bush White House wound up producing some DecoyLeader theories, with suggestions that Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz or perhaps even a [[TheOmniscientCouncilOfVagueness Secret Board]] of [[CloneHigh Shadowy Figures]] was actually in charge the whole time.
* CrowningMomentOfAwesome: His dodging of the shoe thrown at him when he was carrying a press conference.

* WhatTheHellHero: Some people would say the Iraq War, which they argue shouldn't have happened. Others are disappointed with some progressive positions he took later on, the bailout for instance.
* WouldBeRudeToSayGenocide: Didn't acknowledge the Armenian Genocide so as to not upset Turkey (an ally of the United States), a policy that his successor BarackObama has continued.
** To be totally fair to both Bush and Obama--and any other future American presidents--Turkey has the US by the balls on this one. Turkey is a long-standing member of {{NATO}}, a rare example of a genuine liberal democracy with an Islamist ruling party (thus presenting a model for democratization in other Muslim countries that the US wouldn't find scary), and (most importantly) the third-largest and certainly most powerful country in the Middle East. Setting aside moral and domestic political issues, whom would you rather have as an ally--the stablest, most powerful country in Southwest Asia with whom you have been allied for the better part of a century, or the tiniest state in the region which, while very friendly, was part of your mortal enemy until 1991?
