* A joke where a man wearing a hat sells his soul to the devil in exchange for all his earthly desires to be granted. Years later, the devil returns to collect, only for the man to remove his hat, revealing a magnificent flame-red mane. [[spoiler: The joke, of course, being that GingersHaveNoSoul.]]

Added DiffLines:

* Bob Page, the BigBad of ''Videogame/DeusEx'' (and {{Greater Scope Villain}} of its prequel games). Oddly, in ''Videogame/DeusExMankindDivided'', his hair appears to be black, though this could be due to in-game lighting- his concept art still has very dark auburn hair.

Bullies in school media often have red hair because of the [[FieryRedhead temperamental redhead stereotype]]. Note the dovetailing with the ViolentGlaswegian, though that seldom overlaps. Contrast RedheadedHero, wherein the hero's red hair makes them noble leaders, and RedheadedStepchild, wherein the redhead is despised but not ''necessarily'' evil, as well as the growing tendency over the past few decades for [[HeroesWantRedheads heroes to have red-haired romantic interests]], especially [[SignificantGreenEyedRedhead green-eyed ones]].

* ''LightNovel/{{Baccano}}'''s Claire Stanfield straddles the line between this and [[RedHeadedHero Red Headed]] AntiHero, as a red-headed AxCrazy Heroic Sociopath in a BlackAndGreyMorality universe. It doesn't help that he's a complete WildCard.

* Kainatrol in ''Fanfic/FutariWaPrettyCureBlueMoon'' has deep red hair and a red colour scheme, and is probably one of the more evil members of the Etherium and certainly the least likable. Even the first on-screen victim of her MindControlEyes, Mia, had red hair. (On [[RedheadedHero the other hand]], there's also [[MysteriousWatcher Dawn]].)

* Loki, the god of mischief in Myth/NorseMythology, in contrast to the much more masculine RedHeadedHero Thor. In Norse tradition, those born with red hair and blue eyes were thought to possess supernatural strength and were more likely to be [[FieryRedHead harbingers of battle]]. The modern depiction of Thor with blond hair is wrong on multiple levels, as blonds were considered to be calmer and more strategic in battle, hence Odin's coloration.

* Another subversion: Axel Almer of ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars''. He's an honest Evil Redhead in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsAdvance'', as well as the GBA version of ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsOriginalGeneration 2''. However, in the subsequent remakes, he's more or less a NobleDemon, not outright evil...then he pulls a HeelFaceTurn, making him a RedHeadedHero (as does his heroic self in ''Advance'').
