* One of the secondary characters in Webcomic/ErrantStory has a pet miniature tentacle monster, yily named Rape-kun. Despite the name, he is completely harmless, and oddly cute. It's mentioned that the owner doesn't have the password to unlock Rape-kun's "Adult Mode". Make of that what you will.

* The famously scary giant squid Watcher in the Water from Disney's version of Film/TwentyThousandLeaguesUnderTheSea.Film/LordOfTheRings is definitely this. While the books only showed tentacles leaving the creature's physical appearance unclear, the movie actually shows that it is a gigantic squid/Octopus with a humanoid face.

* Italian movie Tentacoli features a giant octopus that was stirred up by an underwater tunneling project, and developed a taste for humans.
* Film/Sharktopus combines this with ThreateningShark.

* Although whether the creature is actually evil is debatable, the MindRape Saw Gererra's LivingLieDetector Bo Gullet inflicts on its victims in Film/RogueOne provides some serious NauseaFuel as well as NightmareFuel just by watching the process from the outside. The thing would've been terrifying enough already even without that ability, being a 6-foot tall land-dwelling octopus-thing that menacingly creeps towards you with its wet tentacles eagerly reaching for your temples...

* ComicBook/Diabolik had to fight octopi twice: the first time was when a millionaire, expecting Diabolik's visit, put his jewels in a chest and the chest in a pool containing seawater and a giant guard octopus (Diabolik planned to drop a large can of cyanide in the pool, but found himself in a hurry and had to jump in and knife it to death), while the second time he was peacefully swimming when a wild octopus attacked him (Diabolik knifed this one to death too).

Added DiffLines:

* When N Ma from Series/MahouSentaiMagiranger first breaks free from his seal, he resembles a giant demonic cephalopod. In the final arc of the series, he transforms to a Cthulhumanoid. In Series/PowerRangersMysticForce, this character is adapted into Octomus the Master.

Added DiffLines:

* Several Mecha in Franchise/SuperSentai and its adaptation Franchise/PowerRangers take the shape of a cephalopod.
** Series/NinpuuSentaiHurricaneger and Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm feature a MechaExpansionPack that resembles a giant orthocone, which attaches to the right knee of the Rangers' HumongousMecha, enabling a Drill attack.
** Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger features the Ika Origami (Octo Zord in Series/PowerRangersSamurai), which is another MechaExpansionPack. For the Mecha of the main team, it forms a BladeBelowTheShoulder, a backpack and a shield. For the Mecha of the SixthRanger, it turns into a chestplate and a spear or staff.
** The final Mecha introduced in Series/DobutsuSentaiZyuohger is Cube Octopus, yet another MechaExpansionPack which gives the main mecha a backpack that allows it to fly by spinning what used to be its tentacles.
