* ''Everton'': Major rivals of Liverpool. Often challenge for European places, and were the first team to break into the Champions League spots (previously occupied consistently by the "Big Four"), in the 2004-05 season (ironically the one of the Four they replaced that year - Liverpool - actually won the Champions League that season, so got a bye into the following season's competition). Managed by David Moyes since 2002.
* ''Fulham'': Owned by business tycoon Mohammed al Fayed. Probably most famously had a great escape from relegation in 2007-08 under Roy Hodgson, then the following season got into Europe, before becoming runners-up in the 2009-10 Europa League - beating many of the game's most famous names to do so. Currently managed by ex-Spurs boss Martin Jol.
* ''Liverpool'': The second most successful club in English Football, who have won the League 18 times and the European Cup 5 times, but have never won the Premier League in its' present form. 
* ''Manchester City'': Perennial underachievers, until being bought by Arab Sheik Mansour, after which the team became serious title contenders, winning the 2011-12 title under Roberto Mancini.
