Humans are far more advanced and intelligent than any other organism we know of on the planet, with qualities nearly incomprehensible to other animals like societies, culture, and imagination, and yet are capable of being killed by microorganisms or animals like any other. To an extent this also counts as BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu, as when a human dies, other humans will take precautions so that they don't die the same way, including exterminating the offending species en masse in retaliation and self-defense.

Matoro eventually allows himself to be absorbed by Teridax, combining HeroicSacrifice, MindRape and the Cthulhu-punch all at once; since Teridax couldn't take over the universe, he had nothing really left to live for, and it weakened his mind to the point that Matoro could make him kick his own ass]].
