* Disney/{{Tangled}}: Pascal the chameleon sometimes changes color on emotions, e.g. when he's startled and scared by Maximus suddenly dragging Flynn away, he turns red. This is downplayed however, because ''most'' of the color-changes he has in the movie, are [[HollywoodChameleon him matching colors with his environment, or even color-changing on will for fun]].

The enviroment is usually a white-ish void, but memories are colour-coded (given the situation, red or blue/violet for anger and sadness).

** The [[BizarreAlienBiology Boov change colors]] to reflect emotions. Red is anger, yellow is fear, orange is happiness, blue is sadness, and pink seems to be affection. In addition, they turn [[CannotTellALie green when they lie]].
** Although it's possible that only Oh turns green when lying, or that the tell is present in only some Boov or can be avoided, as Smek lies to the Boov in his announcement, trying to prevent them from worrying about Oh's email and the Gorg, but he doesn't turn green. Then again, it might be guilt that causes green coloration, as Smek doesn't seem to feel guilty about much of anything, while Oh is much more empathetic.
