Added DiffLines:

* ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000''
** Joel - Red (although his jumpsuit comes in many colors, he is described in the intro as "just another face in a red jumpsuit")
** Mike - Green/Blue (also has several jumpsuit colors, but usually wears green or blue)
** Crow - Gold
** Tom Servo - Red
** Gypsy - Purple
** Dr. Forrester - Lime Green
** TV's Frank - Black (sometimes grey or silver)
** Pearl - Pink/Lime Green (pink in season 7, lime green in later seasons)
** Observer(s)/"Brain Guy" - Dark Blue/White
** Prof. Bobo - Yellow/Brown
** Other characters may include the likes of Mr. B Natural, who always wears a "powder blue note-spangled jacket" as described by Servo.
*** When the crew of the SOL reach the edge of the universe and become beings of pure energy, their energy forms match their colors: Mike-Green, Crow-Gold, Tom Servo-Red, and Gypsy who is oddly Blue rather than Purple. Cambot and Magic Voice also become energy beings, and both appear to be White.

Added DiffLines:

* ''Webcomic/GuildedAge'': Each of the [[spoiler: [[PeopleJars tanks]]]] seem to be a different colour which is associated with one of the main characters.
** Also during the [[spoiler: interviews, several accessories on their person are highlighted to give us an idea of [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotSymbolic their personalities/hobbies]] as well as who they are in the game.]]
** Then there's the enigma of [[spoiler:why Mr. Daedalus' tie is in Bandit's colors]] - or, more significantly, in the colours of Cultist magic.

* ''Anime/{{Voltron}}'' is an interesting case, as in the original series, four of six pilots ([[BackupTwin five of seven]] in ''Anime/GoLion'') wore colors that didn't match their lion colors and actually matched the lion of someone else. In ''WesternAnimation/VoltronTheThirdDimension'' and ''WesternAnimation/VoltronForce'', the suit colors rotated to match the lions (i.e. pilot of the black lion got a black suit, and Allura's uniform changed to blue). In ''WesternAnimation/VoltronLegendaryDefender'', the lion colors rotate to match the suit (i.e. wearer of the red suit got the red lion.)

* The boyband JLS, who, thanks to their rise to fame on TheXFactor, are colour-coded, and have carried it into their music career, often performing with not just in coloured clothing, but having coloured tape around their microphones and coloured earpieces. It's almost guaranteed that if you used their real names (Aston, JB, Marvin and Oritse) very few people would know who you were talking about, but if you said 'the blue/red/green/yellow guy from JLS,' they would.

** Koopalings,
Koopalings:
*** Games normally use Green (Bowser Jr.), Cyan (Larry), Black (Morton), Pink (Wendy), Lime (Iggy), Purple (Roy), Orange (Lemmy), and Blue (Ludwig)(Ludwig)
*** ''VideoGame/PaperMarioColorSplash'' is an exception, as it places emphasis on the colors of their wands rather than their shells. This places Morton as red, Iggy as yellow, Ludwig as blue, Wendy as violet, Larry as orange, Lemmy as green, and Roy as black. These colors indicate which Big Paint Star they are guarding (except for Roy), and even make up their introduction name splashes.
