The ''Conserving Helpful, Otaku-Produced, Superior Titles, Increasing Common Knowledge'' Society, also known as '''{{CHOPSTICKS}}''' is an organization for those who believe that using Japanese (or other foreign language) titles might be justified in certain cases.

While we support the Wiki's attempts at accessibility and instant clarity, we believe that sometimes a term that is only known by a relatively small fandom, but which can at least be instantly recognised for its meaning by said fandom, is better than a slapped-together English title that can kinda-sorta imply what the content is while losing the instant recognition for ''everyone''.

This is doubly true for tropes specific to that culture, where using the foreign term also marks that it's a foreign trope.

We do NOT support randomly using Japanese terms solely for the hell of it. If you want to do that, go and create a Japanese translation of the wiki. Or found your own group advocating to change the default language from English to Japanese. [[SarcasmMode (Yeah, good luck with that.)]]
