A trope where characters sometimes walk, run or fall into the camera screen. Now the screen itself doesn't cut to static. After the character walks into the screen, either the show will cut to a different scene, the same setting will be shown afterwards, the camera will cut to black, or the camera will rotate 180° and show them walking through it. This trope is mostly used in cartoons. It sometimes happens during chases or chase scenes. And it's like a subtrope for CameraAbuse. May overlap with EatTheCamera.

* Also happens near the end of WesternAnimation/TheAntBully teaser trailer.

* Utilized in Creator/AlfredHitchcock's Rope where a body filling up the screen was used a few times to cover a change in film; mostly someone's back. It's presented as one continuous take but the cameras of the time could only handle enough film for 10 minutes of shooting, so that's how much they shot at a time.
* TheBlindSide: Near the beginning where Michael is walking and quick flashbacks of his family were shown. Then the scene cuts to him in a conference room with an NCAA investigator.

* In Series/TheTwilightZone episode "Death's Head Revisited", the main character runs toward the camera.
* Series/Angel does this in "Redefinition."
* Chuck - In "Chuck Versus the Angel de la Muerte," this happens as Captain Awesome walks down the hall, followed by a cut to General Goya's well-guarded hospital room.
* Used very artfully to advance the series to the real-world present in "Bringing Up Baby", the fourth-season premiere of Series/ModernFamily. In the penultimate scene, Gloria has just told her 65-year-old husband Jay that she's pregnant by him, on the day after the events of the previous season's finale (which had aired four months earlier). Expecting a negative reaction, he instead tells her it's the best birthday present he's gotten and the two embrace. The camera pans around them, coming close enough that their bodies momentarily fill the screen ... and when it's past them, they're in a different house and we see and hear things that make us realize at least three months have passed: Gloria is now showing, Phil has grown a beard he had talked about earlier in the episode, and Cam, Lily and Mitchell have been on a vacation to Britain and back as well as having gotten the kitten they tried to adopt earlier in the episode.

* VideoGame/SonicHeroes: The end of the first scene of the Team Rose story; with Big.
* VideoGame/MarioParty 2: The Pirate Land stage ending movie; with Bowser and the winning character.
* VideoGame/SuperMarioSunshine: The scene where the Pianta Police go to take Mario away.
* VideoGame/MarioSuperStarBaseball: The very last scene of the game where Mario walks out of a field holding a baseball he walks slowly into the camera. Then the camera zooms out from his hat as he continues walking.

* WebAnimation/TheLebrons does this several times in most episodes. For example:
** "Coach" ends this way when Kid and his friends charge at the bullies to fight them.
** Happens twice in "Misunderstood", first when Condor runs towards the camera to talk an irritated Kid out, and second when Kid walks away from him angrily after his BerserkButton was pressed.

Added DiffLines:

A trope where characters sometimes walk, run or fall into the camera screen. Now the screen itself doesn't cut to static. After the character walks into the screen, either the show will cut to a different scene, the same setting will be shown afterwards, the camera will cut to black, or the camera will rotate 180° and show them walking through it. This trope is mostly used in cartoons. It sometimes happens during chases or chase scenes. And it's like a subtrope for CameraAbuse. May overlap with EatTheCamera.

* Utilized in AlfredHitchcock's Rope where a body filling up the screen was used a few times to cover a change in film; mostly someone's back.
