* Played with by Kilgrave in ''Series/JessicaJones.'' He thinks he's in love with her, and compliments her fairly consistently. . . when he isn't trying (or succeeding) in controlling her mind and making her hurt herself or others, controlling everyone around her just to get under her skin and make her take him back, or just being generally ''horrifically'' creepy.

* Gin Ichimaru from ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'' and his treatment of "Hinamori-chan", whom he taunts gently yet sarcastically to make her (and others) believe he's a criminal and a traitor. * ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated'': Sunstorm is always complimenting people, be it his enemies or allies.
