->''"Angry humor from an angry man"''

Meet Adam Buckley, your average 30-year-old man who lives in London, Ontario in Canada. He's a web comedian who does weekly rants.

His first rant, "London Transit Strike", was published on December 10th, 2009, and is available for listen exclusively at his website, [[http://www.adam-buckley.com/dose/]]. His 100th rant, "Music Fans", was published on January 17th, 2013.

Along with his usual rants, he also has side-series, which he calls "Supplements". The most popular series he has is "Musical Autopsy", where he "dissects a song to find out what the fuck is wrong with it". Another one of his long-running series is "Advice No One Asked For", in which he steals a question asked to an advice columnist, and answers it himself: cynically and according to him, "the way it was supposed to be answered".

He also does the Top 10 Worst Songs of [Year] lists, which have gained him the most popularity.

----
* AnalogyBackfire: in the {{LMFAO}} Musical Autopsy.
--->'''Redfoo:''' Yo, I'm runnin' through these hoes like Drano.
--->'''Buckley:''' Drano through hoes? Wouldn't that kill them?
* TheBlank: Shows his face in only 3 episodes out of 150.
* BerserkButton: Many.
** Anytime celebrities get spoiled with special treatment.
** BAD MUSIC.
** Chris Brown.
** The stupidity of modern society.
** Any instance where he has to go YouMakeMeSic.
** He gives signals of Nicki Minaj being one.
* CallBack: In "Billboard and Website/YouTube", Buckley reads a comment on Billboard.com stating that the journalists on Billboard conspired to get "Harlem Shake" to #1, stating that the conspiracy theorist was "probably a Natural News fan", calling back to episode "Colorado Theatre Massacre Conspiracy", which dealt with NaturalNews.com's conspiracy theories about the Aurora Massacre.
** ''Racks'' by YC (he points to the words "Racks on racks on racks.") once made it on his worst of 20xx list. A year later ''Rack City'' by Tyga has him question if "if all the stacking YC did (''Racks'' starts playing) led to a city of racks being made.".
* CatchPhrase: "This has been Musical Autopsy... bag it and tag it." Though deviated from a couple times.
** "Jesus-cocksucking-Christ!"
** "What in Lord Buddha's name is [confounding thing]?"
* ClusterFBomb: Many, many, many times.
* CrapsackWorld: How Buckley feels about the world, most evident in his episode "2010 New Year".
* TheCynic
* DarkerAndEdgier: His later episodes don't feature his girlfriend doing the introduction, which creates a more serious and darker vibe, as said by Buckley.
** His "Advice No One Asked For" series, while still comedy, is much darker than his "Musical Autopsy" series
* DarkIsNotEvil: His comedy does range on dark humor and death jokes, but he's not a bad person.
* DeadpanSnarker
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Episodes from the first year and a half of his show had brief intros by his girlfriend. Also, in his first two Musical Autopsies, he did not write out the lyrics and was significantly less caustic than in his later Autopsies.
* TheFaceless: Shows his face in only a few episodes.
* {{God}}: A firm disbeliever of it. If it's not scientifically proven, it's bullshit.
* GrammarNazi: God does he hate it when people insult him with text language.
* GrumpyBear
* {{Hipster}}: Subverted. Though he dislikes many aspects of mainstream culture, he doesn't much care for hipsters either.
* HumansAreMorons: How Buckley feels about his peers.
* {{Jerkass}}: [[TropesareNotBad A large part of his appeal comes from how awesomely vitriolic he is.]]
** [[WordOfGod He outright says it himself actually.]]
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite his angry, cynical perspective on life and music, he actually respects a lot of people and actually does some nice things - even if he doesn't approve of what he does.
* LighterAndSofter: His "Musical Autopsy" series compared to his normal work. Although there's still plenty of profanity, Buckley switches out death jokes and dark humor for criticizing shitty music.
** His more rare parodies of commercials are often very lighthearted in comparison with everything else on his channel. So much that watching one after an "Advice No One Asked For" might give you [[MoodWhiplash Mood Whiplash]].
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: He mentions in one of his videos that his friends will tell you that he's a pretty nice guy and that he gives them money from time to time so that "they don't say anything about it [[CausticCritic 'cuz it'll ruin what I've got going on here]]."
* PrecisionFStrike: A lot.
* QuitYourWhining: During his "10th Anniversary of September 11th", he actually gets [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness serious]] and says this saying the only people who have a right to mourn about it are those directly affected by it and any one else is just bitching. He lists other instances of such leading to...
--> " And to Americans who are gonna be pissed at me for this, let me ask you this. When was the last time YOU thought about 7/7/2005 [[note]]London train bombings[[/note]]. (Beat) If you had to look that up, you just proved my point."
** "Calling in Sick" is a 3 minute comedic version of this.
* RunningGag: "This has been Musical Autopsy... bag it and tag it."
** During his year-end lists, his honorable mentions are always after the #1 pick.
* SantaClaus: Chooses not to tell his children about him because he doesn't want them to grow up believing in bullshit.
* SelfDeprecation
** He tends to call himself ugly from time to time. In "Double Standards" he shows a picture of himself in a suit as he says "some random ugly guy" with a caption saying ''Yes that's me'' over it. Some fans say he's actually an okay-looking guy.
* UnstoppableRage: A fairly tame example but stronger (or bizarrely, the most mild) embodiments of stupidity can throw him into this.
* YouMakeMeSic: Insults he can ignore but they draw his attention (and the above trope) when people don't have the decency to use proper grammar or punctuation when writing them.
* YouNeedToGetLaid: What some people comment on his videos after he bashes one of their favorite songs.
** At which point during his "Hate comments: Worst Songs of 2010/2011" he points out A) Some of those telling him this are virgins themselves and B) Wonders why people think getting laid fixes any problem.
