** Going "Blehhh" whenever they drop items via the Q key.key, due to the game making it look like a character is vomiting when dropping multiple items.

* TheDevTeamThinksOfEverything: During the "Puzzle Cube" map, Lewis gets fed up and attempts to cheat (again)... only to discover that the maker of the map made it impossible to switch to creative mode and gave players infinite mining fatigue so they couldn't break the blocks of the puzzles, to Lewis's chagrin. Then [[SubvertedTrope subverted]], as they are able to cheat using their oldest method: TNT.

* GenreSavvy: Lewis asked Simon to hold [[spoiler: the holy record]] when [[spoiler: Mistral City burned down]] because he realized he himself dies more often.

* GenreSavvy: Simon eventually becomes wary of anything that come out of Yoglabs' [[RunningGag coffee machine.]]

* GenreSavvy: After the laser turret ends up firing upon Simon a few times, Lewis programmes it so that both he ''and'' Duncan are whitelisted, preventing Duncan from being victim to the same thing.

* GenreSavvy:
** After Sjin accidentally crashes his Fraps programme, he and Lewis reboot it just in case when discussing the incident later.
** Sjin later questions the sanity of growing seeds that spawns skeletons. As it turns out, they only grow ''bones'', but he was still wise to question it, given the bizarre crops that can be grown.

* TemptingFate: Upon descending to visit Sly Tony, Duncan (who had been absent for the first visit) points out that, [[GenreSavvy given the group's track record]], having a jumping puzzle that passes over lava is a terrible idea. Simon scoffs at this and declares that the puzzle is incredibly easy, and no one could possibly fall in. (Note that this is Simon, who [[HypocriticalHumor by his own admission absolutely loathes jumping puzzles]].) Duncan, [[ProperlyParanoid not willing to risk it]], starts building a bridge between the blocks...only to [[WrongGenreSavvy mistake a curve in the path for a straight line and]] [[TooDumbToLive plunge face-first into a lava spring]].

* TwentyBearAsses: Almost directly quoted from TVTropes in ''Shadow of Israphel'' Part 7; and yes, they did have a FetchQuest to FindTheCure.

** More recently, the Fumblemore and Old_Peculier accouns have been used by Lewis and Sjin, respectively, in Duncan's Project Ozone, after their main accounts lost all their lives and were banned from the server. Sjin also used the Strawfingers and Squib accounts, and lost all lives in both. The mostly lost lives thanks to their obstination to open Chance Cubes, despite the fact they mostly been terrible.

*** A particular example of this ocurrs in the "Dimensional Doors" mod spotlight, where Lewis takes Simon past a garage placed in a pocket dimension filled with numerous vehicles, including several military, and silently claims Russia didn't provide them to fight the government. "Russia didn't provide these."
