''The Luxe'' is a series of teenage books by Anna Godbersen, set in New York in during the social season of 1899-1900, and dealing with the machinations of the rich and famous (plus some of their servants). The books are told from the alternating points of view of Elizabeth Holland, her sister Diana Holland, their sometime maid Lina Broud, bachelor Henry Schoonmaker and cunning socialite Penelope Hayes.
