OmniverseGC is a large ScienceFiction SharedUniverse wiki taking place in a collection of original universes founded on March 13, 2012. The wiki incorporates a good degree of hard science fiction. Most of the wiki's stories take place in the Omni 01 universe particularly revolving around the affairs of the galaxy-spanning alliance of superpowers known as the Galactic Senate. Originating in 2009 as part of the SporeWikiFictionUniverse, three years later it would break off into an entirely different series of its own and having very little to do with {{Spore}}. Because of this, both wikis share many similarities in style and setting, though OmniverseGC tends to focus more on professionalism. Anyone can contribute to the wiki, though new writers are required to create a pitch showcasing what they plan to write.

After its first year anniversary, the series received numerous reboots in an attempt to fix some long standing problems including the use of numerous Dicredited Tropes.

OmniverseGC is located [[http://omniversegc.wikia.com/wiki/Omniverse_GC_Wiki here]].
There are still many more stories in OmniverseGC, varying in style and size.

[[Characters/OmniverseGC Here is a list of the characters from Omniverse GC.]]

[[ShoutOut/OmniverseGC Here is a list of shout outs in Omniverse GC.]]

OmniverseGC contains examples of the following:

[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:General]]
* AboveGoodAndEvil - A commonly enforced theme to encourage users to be more original.
* AbnormalAmmo - Expect to see things such as acid spit or shuriken being fired from a gun.
* ActionGirl - An increasingly common trope as more characters get added.
* AlienBlood - Played with. Some aliens have normal, red blood. Others have yellow, green or blue blood.
* AlienSky - Given the setting, this is to be expected. Usually, the first thing that is described when a character lands on another planet is the sky.
* AllPlanetsAreEarthLike - Heavily subverted. Almost every single habitable planet is vastly different from Earth.
* AlternateUniverse - The whole setting of OmniverseGC. Humans had left Earth in the 1980s after being attacked by the Harbingers.
* {{Antimatter}} - used as one of many weapons
* AuthorAppeal - More often than not, factions are often modeled after the belief systems and ideals of the user who created it. For balancing, the more experienced users will often create other factions which serve as foils.
* BeautyEqualsGoodness - Naturally averted when most aliens are modeled after monstrous/animalistic creatures.
* CanonDiscontinuity - Can happen frequently due to large scale retcons.
* CreatorBacklash - After the near-completion of one of Dark Prophecy's drafts, a scathing self-review was posted by one of its main authors - the main criticisms being the numerous use of pet peeve tropes.
* EarthIsTheCenterOfTheUniverse - The wiki openly encouraged to avert this trope at all costs.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness - Some of the wiki's earliest stories alluded greatly to typical fantasy tropes and had characters that were not so intelligent, a stark contrast to the more realistic style the wiki became after the retcons.
* FollowTheLeader - It is not uncommon for new users to create civilizations that have remarkable similarities to those that have been around since the beginning.
* GenreShift - Originally a science fantasy, the wiki has shifted from level 2 to level 4 on MohsScaleofSciFiHardness since its inception.
* GreyAndBlackMorality - If the bad guy is straight-up evil, then usually, the hero has some dark backstory.
* GreyAndGrayMorality - If there are no wickedly evil villains, this will almost always be the case.
* InvincibleHero - A common mistake made by new users. Does not occur in the canon, however.
* SelfParody - One-Man Army and the Malexemplum are examples.
* SturgeonsLaw - When this begun to occur on the wiki, a pitch system was put in place.
* Troperiffic - Virtually every character backstory is this.
[[/folder]]

* InsignificantLittleBluePlanet - Very much so to the point where humans complain about not getting enough attention.
* InvincibleHero - Parodied in "The Impossible Dossier"
** Parodied once more in "The One-Man Army". Then, it gets deconstructed with a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech towards the said hero.
* ItsAllUpstairsFromHere - Lampshaded. Tholker Zhevhyit complains about the layout of Infra's castle being this way.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall - The wiki's fictional backstory is based around actual events that took place behind the scenes such as when certain authors joined the wiki.
** An in-universe example is Uszaroth's tendency to reference the audience and/or readers.
** Another in-universe example occurs in "The One-Man Army" when the Titan King (aka God) stops a story from continuing because it was upsetting the balance of the universe.
* TheManBehindTheMan - [[spoiler:Y'knahn]] and [[spoiler:Renr Gron]] were being manipulated by [[spoiler:Altus Infra]].

* PardonMyKlingon - Tholker Zhevhyit often cusses in Luuschtuntski.

* PlanetOfHats - Deconstructed with the Sinister Hegemony. It is a socialist dictatorship where individual alien races were modified to be only capable of one single societal role.
* PowerGlows - Inverted. The more a Maj user glows, the less efficiently they are using their Maj.
* PrecisionFStrike - Swearing is moderately common, though expletives harsher than "damn" are rare. Using a ClusterFBomb is against the wiki's rules.

* BeethovenWasAnAlienSpy - Previous drafts had other civilizations inspiring Earth's cultures in the ancient past. Later averted for continuity purposes.

The Dark Prophecy story arc is the largest collection of stories on the wiki to date revolving around a team known as the Galactic Senate Special Operations Corps (or GSSOC) and their efforts to stop the evil overlord Altus Infra from taking over the universe. Little do they know that things are not as simple as they seem. The story arc has been in production since December 23, 2010, and is nearly complete, needing only several revisions to accompany the wiki's recent retcons.

Two more major story arcs are currently planned known as Chaos Crisis and Galactic Apocalypse respectively. Chaos Crisis will involve the [[NiceJobBreakingItHero consequences of the GSSOC's actions]] during Dark Prophecy. Galactic Apocalypse takes place after the GSSOC's attempt to remedy the consequences during Chaos Crisis, but ultimately they have to fight against a force that [[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt threatens to destroy the universe]].

*AbnormalAmmo - Expect to see things such as acid spit or shuriken being fired from a gun.
* ActionGirl - An increasingly common trope as more characters get added.
*AlienBlood - Played with. Some aliens have normal, red blood. Others have yellow, green or blue blood.

* {{Antimatter}} - used as one of many weapons

*SturgeonsLaw - When this begun to occur on the wiki, a pitch system was put in place.

* AbnormalAmmo - Delsons can fight using their spit, and Ahrganot Skizgo's gun can shoot shuriken.
** Lampshaded in Operation Money Cushion.
-->'''Tholker:''' "I still don't get that silly weapon of yours. Guns are supposed to shoot bullets..."
* AbortedArc - Tyrannis. He is mentioned as a threat on par with Altus Infra, but remains unresolved even after [[spoiler:Infra is defeated]].
** This is because one of the authors working on this particular plot point had left the wiki while Dark Prophecy was still being written.
* AirVentPassageWay - Lampshaded twice. Once in Operation Raising Hell. The other time in Operation Money Cushion.
-->'''Narrator:''' "Luckily, the hotel was not designed by an evil overlord who would have been smart enough to make the vents too small for anyone to crawl through."
* ActionGirl - An increasingly common trope as more characters get added.
* AGodAmI - Altus Infra proclaims the Dhragolon as the new Harbingers.

** Lampshaded by Uszaroth who points out GSSOC's GenreBlindness to this trope.

* AlwaysABiggerFish - During Operation Titanic Discoveries on Delse when a Sevritulin attacks (and kills some of) a group of Korsaraptors that were attacking GSSOC.

** Dhragolon tech advances rather slowly because they keep getting pummelled in wars, yet always coming back. It took them 7,000 years to spread across half of the Perseus Arm.
** Eteno tech, on the other hand grows very fast, and they were able to take over most of the Outer Arm in roughly one thousand years.
