''My Sweet Audrina'' is a novel published by Creator/VCAndrews in 1982 significant for its liberal use of [[SexualHarassmentAndRapeTropes rape tropes]]. It is the only standalone novel of her career and was released in 2016 as a MadeForTvMovie with the Lifetime Network. The original novel hinges on one big {{Spoiler}}, which many readers guess right from the beginning. A ghostwritten sequel, ''Whitefern'', which continued the story of Audrina as an adult, was published in 2016.

* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Averted. Vera slips into slinky lingerie, drugs Arden, and starts to undress him. This is never portrayed as okay, especially since it's also has the double benefit of distracting him from the fact that she disconnected Audrina's life support. He's coherent enough to fight her off and is clearly angry and disgusted at her behavior.

Presumably she Damien believed the First Audrina's "gift" was simply a sweet, loving, destroyed by her rape, and he became obsessed with recreating it in the second Audrina, [[NiceJobBreakingItHero only to instead fill her with fear and mistrust of him]]. [[spoiler: Ironically, once Audrina broke free of Damien's control, it turned out the IncorruptiblePurePureness really ''was'' incorruptible and had been there the whole time. More ironic still, it drives her to return home to her controlling father.]]
