* Near the end, in the usual Pixar logo gag, Luxo Jr. stomps the "I" in "PIXAR" flat, faces us, lights up for a sec... [[LogoJoke before going out.]] Then WALL•E strolls by, uses his pincers to smoothly spin the dead bulb off and replaces it with a new one. Luxo Jr. lights up again, and WALL•E pats him on the "head" and moves away. As the scene finally fades to black, the replacement bulb is revealed as an energy-saving bulb. A [=CMOA=]+[=CMOH=] to be sure.

*** Fridge-Heartwarming: The Captain's joy at [=EVE=] finding the plant is a lovely reprise to when he first learned about "Operation Recolonize". When he first learned about it, he was confused (and perhaps even ''startled'' that the Axiom's status quo would change). Understandably, he had no grasp of what "going back to Earth" meant. But after [[WikiWalk learning about Earth and its bounties]], he fantasizes about how wonderful it will be to return there. His wonderment at the plant [=EVE=] brings establishes he now understands how important this all is, and his line seals his comprehension of what it means for humanity:

** When he learned that Earth was in [[TearJerker bad shape]], the Captain is momentarily discouraged. But between hearing [=EVE's=] recording of Theatre/HelloDolly and seeing the plant, he recognizes that there's still hope for Earth. He even [[CharacterDevelopment puts effort]] into reviving the wilting plant with water.

* WALL•E's and [=EVE's=] first "conversation." How does a scene consisting of four words repeated over and over again look so ''sweet''?

* Garbage Airlock, when the WALL-A units stop what they have been 24/7 doing for the last few hundred years to give EVE some light to try and fix up WALL•E and when EVE shoots a hole in the roof and flies off to try and get WALL•E back home to save him they give a wave to wish them good luck. The hand shake with M-O is a nice moment too.

* After the ''Axiom'' lands on Earth and EVE races past the disembarking humans to repair WALL•E, Captain [=McCrae=] reverently removes his hat and holds it over his heart. Keep in mind that he is, to the best of his knowledge, the ''only'' leader humanity has at this point--everyone answers to him, and he's the highest of the social ranking. And yet he still performs a gesture of respect and humility to the two robots who saved them all, proving that he is a truly HumbleHero and the kind of leader that will inspire others to restore the Earth.

** Bonus funny moment: When WALL•E tries to leave, he ends up knocking down the "R" in "PIXAR", but fixes it by shaping himself into an "R" and standing in for it.

** Notice before this scene that EVE starts off scanning the ground and only starts flying once the drop pod has left. It's not hard to assume that she's flying because she's free for the time being. Even prior to her character development, she's not completely rigid and single-mindedly focused on the directive.
* While EVE initially blasts Hal out of suspicion that he's hostile, once he gets back up from the blast she turns her blaster into a hand and lets him crawl up on it, tickling her.

* While its use throughout the movie as WALL•E and EVE's love song makes it heartwarming in and of itself, ''Film/HelloDolly'''s "It Only Takes a Moment" brought TearsOfJoy when overlapped with the reunion of WALL•E and EVE and the ''Axiom''[='=]s captain and passengers beginning to repopulate the Earth at the end. Something about the last line: "...to be loved a whole life long". It perfectly encapsulates WALL•E and EVE's future together, and also hints at the lives of meaning and dignity that now lie ahead for humanity.** Even better, because the end credits ''prove'' this: humanity relives its entire history of art, Earth (or at least a part of it) becomes green again, and even after all that time, WALL•E and EVE are still together, holding hands.

* HeartwarmingInHindisght: M-O, who is very literally programmed to panic over a smudge of dirt, is so concerned about WALL•E when he arrives on Earth that he doesn't even care that dirt is now below, above, to his left, to his right, in front of him and behind him and '''everywhere'''.

* Here's an example which encompasses the whole movie: WALL•E himself. WALL•E, the guy who spent, at most, ''700 years'' living with the corpses of his fallen brothers (he may even have seen them die), serving for a purpose which came with no product for seemingly eternity, and dealing with the most diabolical climate on Earth. WALL•E, who had to spend those 700 years all alone, with no company apart from a cockroach (and even then, we have no idea when the cockroach joined). [[{{Anaphora}} WALL•E]], who could've have used all that trauma as an [[FreudianExcuse excuse to be the most bitter, hateful person alive]]. And WALL•E, who instead used his as a reason to never let others go through the pain that he did, who used it to become curious and sweet and loving, who became someone who [[BlitheSpirit sparks life in others]] just by being around them.

''WesternAnimation/WallE'': The beautiful movie about two robots and a bunch of pudgy humans [[InSpace IN SPACE]]. And while we do examine issues about the environment and consumerism, the story is really about love and home and second chances and there are some simply soul touching moments along the way. It could easily be considered the most heartwarming and optimistic [[AfterTheEnd post-apocalyptic]] story ever.

* The scene where the humans on the ''Axiom'' work together to get the plant to EVE and into the Holo-detector - they don't know what it is, what it does, or even ''who WALL•E was'' before this point, but after seeing him get crushed trying to hold the machine open, they work to help save him just as much as the robots do. It really goes to show that even after 700 years' time, human heart and compassion ''still does'' (and ''always will'') shine true.
* After the ''Axiom'' lands on Earth and EVE races past the disembarking humans to repair WALL•E, Captain McCrae reverently removes his hat and holds it over his heart.

** Before that, the WALL-A's actually save the trio from the airlock, shutting it off when they notice the door is held open by M-O. They even provide light to for EVE when she's trying to fix WALL•E.
