* Alex and Sam apologizing to Clover for abandoning her at the end of "Matchmaker", realizing they should never let romance get in the way of their friendship.

* "Matchmaker" has a surprisingly sweet ending. After Eugene has been dealt with ([[AnythingButThat in the worst way]]), Mandy voices the female school body's woes on how they don't have a date for the Valentine's Day dance. Clover rather wisely points out that instead of wasting the night on moping, there's a dance floor full of lonely young men who wouldn't mind their company. As such, the guys are pleasantly surprised by this turn of events, and the dance resumes with far more fanfare than ever before.

** The fact that it's Mandy of all people who [[SincerityMode whole-heartedly]] rallies the collective girls to dance with the collective boys is awfully wholesome.
** The cherry on top is Alex and Sam apologizing to Clover for not giving her the benefit of the doubt when she previously tried to warn them. Clover tearfully forgives them, noting that she of all people [[NotSoDifferentRemark knows what it's like to be blinded by infatuation]].

** When the girls return to the present, Clover tells Jerry he's been looking younger recently as she and her friends leave to stop Mandy -- an obvious nod to discovering his insecurities about aging from the time traveling. Particularly sweet it came from Clover, who had spent previous seasons making snide comments about how old Jerry was and/or how long he'd worked for WOOHP.

* In "Beauty is Skin Deep", although it sends Clover into a depression throughout the episode, Rodney immediately flat out rejects Clover's asking him out on a date. The reason? He already has a girlfriend from his old school. It speaks volumes about his loyalty to her how quickly he point blank rejects a girl who's obviously coming onto him. Not to mention the fact he keeps a picture of her in his wallet.
** Additionally, he doesn't seem to treat Clover any less cordially even after she attempted to flirt with him when they first met. Only comparing (rather favorably) her unkempt hairstyle to said girlfriend's and being very friendly the whole while.

* Despite being one of the grossest episodes in the series, the girls were very concerned about Jerry's behavior and knew something was wrong with him when he ate something with blueberries (the girls know their boss well enough to know that he's allergic to blueberries). Also, the girls still manage to pass biology and avoid dissecting the frogs by turning in a very detailed report on the human anatomy, which impresses their teacher so much that he not only passes them, but gives them the frogs as pets.
