* The premise of the show itself is actually quite heartwarming when you really get down to it--fairies helping children who're miserable (for one reason or another) and have hard lives. And no matter what can kind of fairy they are--such as a vain, narcissistic womanizer like Juandissimo and Cosmo, who's arguably the least intelligent character on the show after Timmy's dad--the ones who're assigned to be godparents are more than happy to take on such a job and make children happy.

* Cosmo and Wanda's song in ''School's Out!: The Musical,'' So. Very. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q52wfEaIns8&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_929366 Much.]]
** Then it becomes hilarious when Cosmos says this.
--> '''Cosmo:''' Yep. [[spoiler:"[[WeNeedADistraction Operation: Distract Jorgen with a sappy love song" works every time!]]"]]
* Also in that movie, the two have to return to Earth through the rainbow bridge, but it only has enough space for one. In a move of heroism, Cosmo pushes Wanda so she can go to Timmy, while he gets captured by the Pixies.
* In "WesternAnimation/{{Wishology}}: The Exciting Middle Part", [[spoiler: where Timmy [[HeroicSacrifice sacrifices]] himself in order to save his family, friends AND his enemies. Everyone is heartbroken and when Timmy is sucked into the Darkness they all cry "TIMMY!". Even Jorgen and Crocker,]] who rarely call Timmy by [[FirstNameBasis his first name]].

-->'''Cosmo:''' I'm Cosmo!

** To go off on Juandissimo as a godparent--despite all the bad things that he and Remy (his godson) have done, it's obvious that they really do love and care about each other. In one episode, Juandissimo was actually willing to defy Da Rules just to help Remy.

* In "Hassle in the Castle," we see that Cosmo and Wanda put their former godkid Denzel Crocker's picture (presumably after their memories of him were restored) not in the Hall of Infamy but the Hall of Fame. Even though he grew up to be one of the prime enemies of fairies, that apparently doesn't weigh as much with them as the sweet, generous kid he was when they knew him back then.

* The entire premise of the show can be one. Think about it - it's about fairies helping children who are miserable and have hard lifes. Also, this troper kind of finds it heartwarming that characters like Cosmo, a giant [[TheDitz idiot]] who tends to be a jerk from time to time and Juandissimo, incredibly [[SmallNameBigEgo narcissistic and vain]] [[TheCasanova womanizer]] are more than happy to take such a job and make children happy.

* In "Sooper Poof", Timmy's parents adopt Poof and make him Timmy's adopted brother. When Timmy tries to take Poof back to his real parents, he is unable to put him inside the fishbowl. He then goes outside to discover that Timmy's parents are crying now that Poof is gone. Also, according to Da Rules, Cosmo and Wanda can't simply make them forget about Poof due to them possessing true love for him.
