* This is the first game that shows that [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Paul does have a heart.]] During his encounter with Law, he first brushed him off, claiming that him being number one in the universe is first priority, despite being responsible of Forest's accident. Jerk... except when he wins against Law, he ends up assuring Law that when he's number one in the universe (or just win the tournament), he'll definitely share the prize money so Law can save his son. And judging by the ending, with him having his own shack, he looks like he's serious in this.

Hwoarang beats him, but the Korean Army officers finally catch up to him and attempt to arrest him for desertion. * Jack-6's ending in ''Tag 2'', reminiscent of the ending to TheIronGiant. Just as an asteroid is falling towards Earth, Jack-6 takes flight towards the asteroid and starts hammering away at it, only to have minimal effect. It looks like Jack-6 is about to fly away from it, only to fly towards it full throttle and uses all his power to break the asteroid into bits and sacrifices himself in the process.

[[folder: In general]]

* Despite all that broodiness, Jin still has his own [[MoralityPet Morality Pets]]: [[UnresolvedSexualTension Xiaoyu]] and [[FriendlyEnemy Hwoarang]]. In the former case, he is close enough to give her an AffectionateNickname ("Xiao") and trying to defend her from being involved in all this mess of a family feud (though of course [[PluckyGirl she bluntly wants to interfere everytime]]) while the latter is probably the only person of the male gender in the universe where he can genuinely ''smile'' at.
* Really, Xiaoyu seems to inspire a lot of MoralityPet feeling even to the most evil people. Heihachi took her in solely because [[ItAmusedMe she amused him]], then he provided her with amenities to such an extent that Xiaoyu saw Heihachi as a grandfather. Yes, the same Heihachi who threw down his son for being weak and then shot his grandson because [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness he has served his usefulness]], he's being looked up favorably by someone (other than Kuma, who's not human).

* What about the person who cared for Steve after his unnatural birth? In Steve [[spoiler: and Leo's]] ''Tekken Tag Tournament 2'' endings, it's stressed again that Steve was merely a test subject of Mishima Zaibatsu, who thought him so lowly, they just gave him [[YouAreNumberSix a codename: NT401]]. Yet there was one scientist who ''didn't'' think of him as just a subject: [[spoiler: Emma Kliesen. She]] took him in with kindness and later reported his false death, before transferring him to be adopted elsewhere. [[spoiler: Leo]] ''is'' freakin' dang lucky to have a [[spoiler: mother]] like that (especially compared to the [[BigScrewedUpFamily Mishimas]]) and really drives home just how evil whoever [[spoiler: ordered Emma's execution]] is.

** Her and Eddy's ''Tekken 5'' endings also worth a mention. They spend the tournament looking for a cure for their grandfather/master and when they do win, quickly exhaust all technologies they can to restore him into healthiness. The result? It's a success! And the ending is closed with them doing sparring again with him! [[spoiler: Too bad, it's non-canon, [[TearJerker and their grandfather/master does die in the following game]].]]

* The fact that [[spoiler: Lars might have fallen in love with Alisa. It's not stated outright for obvious reasons, but it seems that EveryoneCanSeeIt in the ''Tekken'' universe, since Jin quickly learns about it the moment that he disables Alisa's safe mode by [[KickTheDog mocking Lars]] for [[JustAMachine having affection for a mere android]]. Regardless, it gives a way different meaning to all of their previous interactions together. Then there's Lars' choice to turn Alisa in to Lee so he can fix her and, just maybe, restore her memories back...]]

[[folder: ''Tekken Tag Tournament 2'']]
* Many of the special tag team winposes:
** In Lars / Alisa, Alisa trips herself, then Lars offers his hand to help her. A nice ContinuityNod to their relationship in ''Tekken 6'', which is mostly ignored in the recent games in favor of Alisa's RomanticTwoGirlFriendship with Xiaoyu.
** While most winposes depict them battling, Yoshimitsu / Kunimitsu has a winpose where they perform backflip together, as if in comradeship again.
** Nina, the resident IceQueen and TheStoic, has probably the only moment where her NotSoAboveItAll attitude is revealed if she is paired with Jin. Specifically, [[TheTease she gives him a suggestive wave]] as the two walk past each other. Coupled with her general loyalty to Jin in ''Tekken 6'', it seems that, for once, she has managed to form a bond beyond that of her typical contractor-assassin relationship.
*** Nina is also the only pairing that gives Jin's Rage Mode a boost (+1), and vice versa. Make that of what you will.
** In King / Armor King, the latter congratulates the former enthusiastically. This wouldn't be a surprise if it's Armor King I (King II's teacher), but this is Armor King II (I's brother) whom we're talking about. The last time they met, he inflicted a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown on King II. Seems that relationships do peach over time.
* In Steve [[spoiler: and Leo's]] ''Tekken Tag Tournament 2'' endings, it's stressed again that Steve was merely a test subject of Mishima Zaibatsu, who thought him so lowly, they just gave him [[YouAreNumberSix a codename: NT401]]. * Not only it is [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome awesome]], the fact that the one that spoke with Kazumi decades ago about having to kill Heihachi turns out to be [[spoiler:[[Franchise/StreetFighter Akuma]]]] is pretty heartwarming on its own considering [[spoiler: this is [[BloodKnight Akuma]] we're talking about. ** [[https://youtu.be/Nq8MED6fqPk?t=1m21s Paul's ending in ''Tekken 4'']] is perhaps his best ending in the entire series. It's one of the few times that the series seriously examined him and it's quite great to watch.

* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TF__UpiQw3Q Kuma's ending]] from Tekken Tag. It's probably the only time you'll ''ever'' see Heihachi as a kind, grandfatherly figure.
* Surprising for what's usually a joke character, Paul's ending in Tekken 4. [[spoiler:After winning the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 and having everything he ever wanted, he realizes that it's not him after seeing a poster in Marshall Law's dojo. It then cuts to him starting up his motorcycle, he takes a longing sniff of gasoline, removes his rich shades, and mutters, "Ain't my style." He then throws them away, and drives into the sunrise.]]
* Lars' ending in ''[=TTT2=]'' is both this and CrowningMomentOfFunny. It's about the first time in the series the Mishima actually get along. With the Kazama as well, for that matter.
* Xiayou's [=TTT2=] ending. She, Miharu, Alisa, and Panda are all at the amusement park, and Xiayou marvels that it's been a long time since it was so peaceful. A freak rainstorm causes them to take shelter, and Xiayou wonders about the meaning of life, and thinks they should come back in twenty years. Then, a rainbow comes out.
* Baek's [=TTT2=] ending. He has a flashback to the time he accidentally killed his father and breaks down, silently crying. Hwoarang comes along and sees him, and to take Baek's mind off of it, starts playing the lazy student, deliberately talking loudly about how he slept in so Baek will have something else to focus on other than his memories. Baek is visibly grateful for the distraction.
* Forest Law's [=TTT2=] ending as well. He and Paul got $100,000,000 and decided to spend it in Las Vegas, he lost all his money and understandably made Marshall mad (especially since he left without his dad's consent)... however, it turns out at the gates of Las Vegas, both of them encountered a crying family outside their burning home. On Forest's suggestion, both of them donated all their money so the family can buy a new house and cancelled their trip to Las Vegas. Yeah [[GoodFeelsGood they did feel good afterwards]].

* Bruce's ''Tekken 2'' and ''Tekken 5'' endings. It cements the fact that, while he is Kazuya's [[TheDragon Dragon]], he's really a good man at heart and definitely a FriendToAllChildren.

* Anna's ending in ''Tekken 6''. It's the first time that [[TheGloriousWarOfSisterlyRivalry the Williams sisters]] have settled their dispute for a bit and actually ''be'' real siblings (and in a classy way: by playing billiards together). Lee's [[CatchPhrase "Excellent!"]] at the end is just an added bonus.

However there is a special tag ending with Jin, it might depend on which version is used or how they are customized as it's hard to get, but they'll begin to walk past each other before Jun (or Jin, depending on who finishes the fight) stops, turns and gives a genuinely warm smile.

While driving Lili home, he tries to cheer her up from her losing the tournament with some music, only for every radio station to take about his spectacular victory in the tournament. When they arrive home, Lili has just one thing to say to him: [[spoiler: "Congratulations[[note]] Félicitations[[/note]]."]]
* Xiaoyu's ending in ''Tekken 6''. Xiaoyu pleads for Jin to not take his life, however, the latter is too remorseful over what he's done. Xiaoyu rushes over to Jin and promises that she will stay by him no matter what, which prompts a hug back from Jin.
