* After Mr. Dudikoff, aka The Dude, has a rather touching conversation with TJ about how learning doesn't have to be boring, he realizes that teaching doesn't have to be boring either, and decides to combine his love for teaching with his reputation as The Dude. Prickly is skeptical at first, but after hearing his explanation, he welcomes Mr. Dude to the profession (showing his approval by calling him "Mr. Dude") and invites him to golf.

** There is also the fact that after Prickly announces to the students he's staying and he closes the door, the kids can be heard cheering loudly. Prickly then leaves with a triumphant smile on his face.

* When Gus is feeling guilty from shoplifting Beanie McGum from Kelso's, he talks to T.J. saying that his friend "Russ" is in trouble and tells him all about the shoplifting and asks what "Russ" should do and T.J. says that confessing to the crime is the right thing to do as even if you get in trouble, that's better then knowing you did wrong for the rest of your life. Inspired Gus ultimately confesses to Kelso who makes a deal with Gus to help him out on Saturdays for the next few months to work off the debt, T.J. watches this happening through the windows and says "Good job Russ".

* Vince and Gretchen compete for class president, which the latter wins. The episode ends with Vince, over a game of tetherball, revealing that he was actually the one who cast the winning vote for Gretchen, since she actually had ideas on how to use the position for the good of the class and the school while Vince realizes Gretchen truly deserved the spot and them playing tetherball together.
just wanted to win because he could.

* The boys' scaled-down HeroicSacrifice in "Mikey's Pants" when Mikey ripped his pants and had to go to get them personally resewn by Ms. Finster. IAmSpartacus They all intentionally ripped their own pants to make sure he wouldn't face the humiliation alone (apparently the girls doing it was too much for the censors). To solidify this awesome moment, as the kids start their jeering chant of "Tighty-Whiteys", King Bob stares at the male members of the team open-mouthed for a moment before instantly silencing the crowd and ShamingTheMob:
-->King Bob: ENOUGH! That was the single most courageous act this playground has ever seen! We won't jeer! We will show respect.
** ...Followed by King Bob taking off his crown and lowering his head, and the entire student body joins him in doing this.

* After AccidentalAthlete Ashley Q kicks a kickball far out of sight, a crowd of students lifts her up, chanting her name. At first, Ashley Q is confused and flustered, but then she starts smiling in a rare NotSoAboveItAll moment. The way she starts taking kickball more seriously (albeit in her usual AlphaBitch way) for both the rest of the episode and the occasional future episode makes it clear that the experience really impacts her.

* When Randall rats out TJ for doing a silly impression of King Bob, Bob doesn't mind in the least and even says he expects that of TJ.

* It can feel oddly nice when Randall is a GracefulLoser for once and comments that blackmailing his way into being prince was good while it lasted.

* When the Ashleys start to get into a fight over how TJ gave each of them a valentine, Ashley A successfully pleads for her friends not to fight each other for the sake of a guy who is seemingly stringing all of them along. While it isn't heartwarming watching them rally a mob against TJ, it is nice seeing their bonds of friendship keep them from fighting.

CMOH that are not specific are not examples. Deleting.

* T.J. himself is pretty much a walking CMOH most of the time.
* Same thing with Mikey.

* Spinelli having a crush on Johnny V. is quite sweet in and of itself, even if it causes her a lot of internal strife.
* The Ashleys, instead of teasing Spinelli over her crush, gently tell her that they understand and reveal a wall of pictures of boys they like. Though she throws it back in their faces, them actually trying to be nice and understanding with Spinelli was surprising.
* Miss Finster finds out about Spinelli's crush and has a little heart-to-heart chat with her, assuring her that she knows how she feels and that even if love ends up going sour, the experience is worth it.
* At the end, Spinelli keeps Johnny V.'s knocked out baby tooth with a fond smile.
