* In "Hello I Must be Going" Kyra wants to move back with Reba after noticing that Brock and Barbra Jean only seem to fight when she's around, eventually they all admit that while they do find Kyra difficult at times, at the end of the day they still love her.

* Kyra's return to the series at the beginning of Season 6 (having been absent for almost all of Season 5), after her actress had overcome her real-life struggle with anorexia nervosa. When asked where she'd been all that time, she states that she was getting something to eat, receiving an absolutely thunderous round of applause when she entered the room. Even more awesome when one realizes that Scarlett Pomers didn't even have to address her personal issues publicly, but she bravely chose to anyway, becoming an ambassador of the National Eating Disorders Association and sharing her story to help people who have experiences with the disorder in RealLife.

Then afterwards her and Kyra share a hug, which is quite a stark contrast to earlier episodes where she makes fun of or disrespects Barbra Jean. She even tells Reba that Barbra Jean ended up being the only normal person at the reunion

* When Cheyenne isn't sure if she wants to go back to high school to finish her senior year (after she was suspended for being pregnant and Van refused to play football in order to force the school to take her back) and Kyra tells her how inspiring she is with everything she's done for the school, which leads her to ultimately deciding to go back. Goes to show that for as much as she makes fun of Cheyenne(especially in later seasons), she really does care about her deep down.

* Kyra punching a girl at her school for calling Cheyenne a slut.

* "Van, you started out in this family as my son-in-law, and, well, [[TearJerker now you're my son]]."

** Likewise, Van defending Reba to his father when the latter insults her morality. It even leads to a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, declaring that Reba actually communicated with him about things, whereas Van's father simply bullied him into fulfilling the family's expectations. Van then states that Reba was a better [[CrowningMomentOfFunny "Dad"]] to him than his actual father ever was.
