He later gives Tony permission to eat Wilbur, showing he Would Hurt A Child.

* A minor one, but when the Bowler Hat Guy ponders how to lure Lewis out of the Robinson house, he at first contemplates blowing it up, but he rejects this idea, seemingly not having the heart to kill Lewis, a ''[[WouldntHurtAChild preteen]]'', and his former friend.

I don’t see how that answer indicates that he did meet her eventually. And they knew the date to take Lewis back to because the orphanage would’ve had it on file.

* Lewis asks his future self if he had ever met their mother and his future self answers nervously that Lewis will have to find out for himself, hinting that ''he did locate her eventually'', something which is backed up by the fact that ''Wilbur knows the date to take Lewis back too!'' Even more heartwarming, reuniting with her ''didn't take him from Bud and Lucille or ruin the family.''

** Goob getting adopted, and being a much happier person.
* It may not be so obvious but the fact that Lewis was not only adopted but also adopted by two accomplished scientists. He was adopted by parents who understood him and would nurture his gifts. Comparing to the couple we saw earlier who was interviewing him for adoption, they clearly wouldn't have been good for him as he was nothing like them. But he ended up finding parents who were.

** Just as Lewis is leaving the orphanage after his adoption, he stops to bid Goob getting adopted, and being a goodbye. Not only is the latter much happier person.happier, but he's in the middle of an adoption interview of his own, with his baseball trophy at his side. The interview looks to be going great, and Goob's future looks as bright as Lewis'.

No meta moment, see this query.

** And the best part about it (on a meta level) is that Disney has really held up to this in the decade after ''WesternAnimation/MeetTheRobinsons'', with the well-received releases of ''WesternAnimation/{{Bolt}}'', ''WesternAnimation/ThePrincessAndTheFrog'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Tangled}}'', ''WesternAnimation/WinnieThePooh2011'', ''WesternAnimation/WreckItRalph'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Frozen|2013}}'', ''WesternAnimation/BigHero6'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Zootopia}}'', and ''WesternAnimation/{{Moana}}''.
* The Robinson Family. They aren't just pure awesome...they're pure heartwarming.
** One particularly touching moment is when Lewis' attempt at fixing the peanut butter and jelly device results in it exploding. Lewis is plainly terrified that the family will be upset (like the couple earlier in the film) and starts to stammer out apologies frantically. To his obvious surprise, they start congratulating him on a wonderful failure ([[MyFriendsAndZoidberg well, except Petunia]]) and Billie passes on the excellent [[AnAesop aesop]] of "From failure, you learn. From success...not so much."

* Wilbur watching Lewis present the Memory Scanner at the science fair. He actually saw [[spoiler: his father show off his greatest invention]] for himself. The proud smile on his face says it all.

**Seeing the family he's built makes it even stronger. Here's a man who has had a lot of people care about him but never really had someone to call his own family. Once he's found success, what does he do with it? He invites all his extended family to live with him, and in the end, this is what he is more proud of than anything he's ever invented. It's very clear he's as happy to be with them as they're happy to be with him.
