* A behind-the-scenes special on Wrestlemania XXX showed a moment between Hogan and Wrestling/UltimateWarrior where Warrior was trying to apologize for things he had said over the years. Hogan ''immediately'' forgave Warrior, saying that all he cared about is what Warrior says and does now. It's even more heartwarming when you consider Warrior would die in two days.

* He and Wrestling/BretHart had a rather strained relationship in wrestling, mostly because of backstage politics. Yet Hogan not only attended the funeral of Wrestling/OwenHart, he did so without much fanfare or anything. This is something Bret Hart gives him credit for in his autobiography.

* In a somewhat odd way, one of the first things that Hogan did after his racist comments were made public was to call Wrestling/BookerT and apologize for it.

** YMMV on that one. Hogan originally wanted to be the guy, who would go on to break Goldberg's streak. Something Wrestling/KevinNash eventually ended up doing. Literature/TheDeathofWCW also alleges that Hogan only agreed to drop the title to Goldberg, because Turner executives were watching the match and Hogan wanted to make it look like he drew a big house.
