* The fact that Monsieur Delacour seems to have helped Fleur and Bill choose their birthday present, a magical shaver, for Harry, since he was the person who explained about how good it is, and how to use it. He and his wife had also brought chocolates for Harry. After growing up with blood relatives who didn't treat him like family, it's heartwarming to know even the in-laws-to-be of his "adoptive" family took the time to get him presents.

* When Voldemort brings Harry up to the castle, of course his friends are going to be horrified. But [=McGonagall=] is described as crying out in horror as well, and it really proves how much she cares about Harry, in turn.

** He spends most of the series belittling Hermione, as well as having aligned himself with Pureblood Supremacists in his youth. But when Phineas calls Hermione a Mudblood, Snape bellows "DO NOT USE THAT WORD!".

But when Phineas calls Hermione a Mudblood, Snape bellows "DO NOT USE THAT WORD!". Though of course, there are also immensely personal reasons why it's a BerserkButton for him
* And, of course, the moment that fans had been waiting years for: Hermione giving Ron a BigDamnKiss, which he enthusiastically returns.

* Harry, Hermione and Ron helping a random woman who's being falsely convicted and tried by Delores Umbridge. Keep in mind, they're using the Polyjuice Potion to steal a locket, which Umbridge has around her neck. They didn't have to save this woman; they chose to do so.

** A FridgeBrilliance that makes this scene even more heartwarming: it totally makes sense for him to empathise with this woman, since Mrs. Cattermole is muggle-born as as Hermione. He's basically acting as Hermione was in her place

* After the trio fight the death eaters in the cafe, and they suggest wiping their memories, Ron walks up to Hermione brushes away a piece of dirt on her cheek with his finger and gently tells her that she's the best one to do it.

* Shortly after Neville's line, Ginny and Harry kiss, and before Harry can tell Ginny he loves her, she just looks him in the eyes and calmly, softly says, "I know." Then they run headlong in different directions, but Harry's got a little grin on his face.

* Shortly after Harry leaves several people of the Order are seen setting up some forcefield that just closes around Hogwarts. We see all those people we are familiar with; [=McGonagall=], Molly, prof. Flitwick. They all mutter the same Latin sentences about protection against enemies. Then we see Horace Slughorn. A massively hedonistic, cowardly SLYTHERIN. And the head of Slytherin to top it off. And then he stands there, helping the Order, knowing that he could possibly die by doing so and would have been gladly accepted by Voldemort -- he is a Slytherin after all -- and he stands with the other Hogwarts professors, muttering the same protective charms that the others say: "Protego Maxima, Fianto Duri, Homenium Repellium." Thereby accepting his faith and choosing to stay in Hogwarts to help the Order. And knowing what he says in Latin makes it even worse.

* Not to mention the combined moment of heartwarming and tearjerker when Harry asks Snape, "How dare you stand where he stood?" Creator/AlanRickman clearly shows that Snape isn't over that-he hates himself for murdering his ParentalSubstitute, as much as, if not more than, Harry does.

* The fact that Narcissa actually managed to lie to Voldemort, who was renowned as a master of Legilimency, earns her a CrowningMomentOfAwesome as well. That's right, snake-boy, you better not mess with the mother protecting her child. (That's actually TWICE that he tried and TWICE that he got PWNED.)
