Added DiffLines:

* A staple of the series is the Christmas chapters. If nothing else works, you can always rely on a Harry Potter's Christmas to warm up your heart.

Added DiffLines:

* Another meta example, after what happened to Creator/MacaulayCulkin after ''Film/HomeAlone'', director Chris Columbus was determined to only pick child actors with good familial background. 10 years later, after the series ended, all the major child actors and actress grow up to be well-adjusted adults and escape the FormerChildStar syndrome.

* In a way, Vernon's reaction to Petunia telling him about her sister being a witch. He's shocked, but then he declares that what her sister is has no effect on his feelings for her. For a guy who's so blindly judgmental, that's actually very sweet of him.

* While it's not presented as an Aesop, the fact that Molly and Arthur Weasley, when the dust finally settles by the epilogue, pretty much win at life by virtue of their children. This humble couple, who didn't have a lot in terms of finance, showered all the children that came into their lives - even the ones that weren't their blood - with love instead, and by Merlin, it ''paid off.'' ** '''Bill''' continued his career as a curse-breaker at Gringotts while Fleur (read: hot part-veela chick from France) worked for Gringotts in Britain (and probably did some liaison work, given that she's likely one of the few witches fluent in both French and English). Let's not forget that Fleur was no slouch as a witch in her own right, having been presented as the best Beauxbatons had to offer at the time of the Triwizard Tournament.
** '''Charlie''' made a living studying dragons, a job that requires both brains '''and''' BrassBalls.
** '''Percy''' became a high-ranking official - some sources say head - of the Department of Magical Transportation.
** '''Fred''' died, but he died a hero and leaves behind a status as one of the founders of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes as his legacy.
** '''George''' continues as a successful businessman at the aforementioned Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
** '''Ron''' logged some time as an Auror and then joined George at the shop, where business is booming. It's not explicitly stated that he got his recognition for being Harry Potter's right-hand man during the war against Voldemort, but given that he got his own Chocolate Frog card, it's pretty likely. Oh, and he married the cleverest witch of their generation in Hermione, who went on to have her own successful career in Magical Law.
