* The clear conern Dipper has when he finds out his sister is wigging out from the sugar stuff (thinking it wasn't as bad earlier but whenit's clear she's ODing, he is legitamately freaking out)

Added DiffLines:

** Stanley smiling and asking (as a CallBack to their childhood) if they will find treasure and babes, and Ford laughing that it is highly probable.

* Soos states that he'd do anything for the Pines family (which Stan then confirms by demanding Soos help him scratch two places at once.) In the show's stinger, we see that [[spoiler:Stan gave Soos his handyman job at the Mystery Shack on his depressing birthday, and he was likely the first thing resembling a stable, semi-positive father figure in his life (JerkWithAHeartOfGold or not, this is still Stan we're talking about here)]].

The look on Soos's face says it all.
** Though not intentional, the fact that Dipper and Mabel are the reason Soos got his job at the Mystery Shack in the first place. Them forgetting the screw driver at his house lead him to head to the Mystery Shack to return it just as Stan was firing another employee, resulting in Soos getting the job.

Added DiffLines:

* There's just something adorable about the way Waddles gingerly puts his hoof on Stans finger and grunts at him when Stan tells Waddles he's watching him. Stan might not like Waddles much, but Waddles definetly likes Stan.

Added DiffLines:

* Dipper and Wendy telling each other how much they mean to each other as they fist-bump and exchange hats as something to remember the other by. While Dipper DidNotGetTheGirl, and possibly is not over her completely, these last few moments really signify how much Dipper and Wendy's friendship has grown (as Dipper is okay with being JustFriends while he might still pine for her), practically rivalling Dipper's relationship with Mabel.

* A small one, but when Bill inflicts horrific punishment on Preston, Pacifica's frightened mother hugs Pacifica close to her. While not excusing her role in Pacifica's neglect, it's nice to see that unlike Preston, she ''does'' actually love her daughter.

* Stan petitioned the government to have Soos's birthday removed from calendars, since he hates it so much. He really ''does'' care.

* "Mabel's Scrapbook: Heist Movie" ends up with the Pines-plus-Soos family sitting and watching a movie from the projection booth. It's rather sweet.

* Near the end of the Defictionalized Journal 3, we see Ford go from a slightly disconnected researcher to a slightly off-kilter family man like Stan is. He even takes a break from his research to answer Dipper's big question- "Why is Gravity Falls so weird?" -to show him exactly why is that. [[spoiler: When Dipper reveals that his real name is Mason, and that he thinks it's a stupid name, Ford tells him otherwise; "Your secret's safe with me, Mason. And I think it's a great name. The Masons were a great secret society, you know."]] His final words in the Journal are the sum total of what he's learned from his experiences and the rest of the Pines' family;
-->''Stay curious, stay weird, stay kind, and don't let anyone ever tell you you aren't smart or brave or worthy enough. If you have come on these adventures with us, then you are an honorary member of the Pines family, and your adventure starts today.''\\
''And if anyone gets in your way- well, we have an entire section on Curses. Have at it.''\\
''For the last time, until we meet in some distant world, this is'' '''Stanford Pines''', ''signing off.''
