*** Except Joanna forgot the temple could resurrect just fine. Even though it's ''specifically what they went there to do.'' Would her character forget that?

* During the confrontation with Mort Kemnon in Dorkness Rising, it is revealed that the players' previous [=PCs=] (Turk, Rennard, Fastidian) have been animated from the dead and are now serving as Mort Kemnon's bodyguards. When Lodge refuses to let Cass use the lightsaber, Cass replies, "Then you do not have my permission to use my old character!" Cass points out that Lodge never asked him, Leo, or Gary to make their old characters into [=NPCs=]. Lodge seems to think that the players have a point. I would argue, however, that Lodge was within his rights, as the DM, to decide what Mort Kemnon, an NPC under his control, would do with the slain adventurers after their defeat. It makes perfect sense for an evil necromancer to make such use of the dead bodies of three powerful enemies, and Lodge shouldn't need the players' permissions to decide what the villain does "offstage," when the [=PCs=] are not present (or, in this case, already dead) and the players cannot reasonably expect to have any way to exert control over the situation.

*** Which brings up another Headscratcher : When Paula stormed into the gaming room at the end of the first film, how did she not notice the five dead bodies sprawled out around the table? I get that she was preoccupied with how pissed off she was at the constant disruptions of her studying, but five dead people seems like kind of a difficult thing to miss.

** True, it is safer to use a wish for an established effect in the game than to make an open-ended wish. But that wasn't why Joanna did it. She did it because she felt it was what her character would do in this situation, according to how Joanna had crafted Daphne's personality. This wasn't an example of Joanna "knowing the system." It was an example of Joanna knowing how to role-play her character.

** DM fiat. Lodge thought it was funny, so it was allowed.

* In Hands of Fate, the tournament rule that any character who dies in a game is permanently dead in the story comes into effect at the beginning of day 2, when there are still more than a hundred players left. So how is ANY character with a card that sees regular play still alive at the end? Especially with the Legacy intentionally killing them off to screw with the story fans?

* Does it constitute a CrowningMomentofHeartwarming that Ryan loved Monica enough not to dump her sorry ass after she had him ''kidnapped'' ... ?

***Well, either he saw or was told that his friends were all killed while playing the adventure involving The Shadow, it is so weird to think that he might have some emotions still tied up in that?

*How is "Hide behind the mound of dead bards" a thing? The bards that weren't hauled away by zombies were disintegrated/eaten alive by the death demon's bug swarm things.

*How did Countersong work on the Death Demon's fear aura? Doesn't it only work on sonic effects?
