!!The movie * At one point Robin takes Marian from where his merry men are feasting to see a group of oppressed, starving peasants that have sought shelter with the outlaws. Naturally they weren't invited to the feasting because...because... ** ...possibly because Robin does not want to expose their identities to the vengeful Normans who are at the feast -- or possibly because he does not want to expose the Normans to the vengeful peasants. Anyway, Robin explicitly makes sure they have been fed and taken care of.
