** Yes, I have ''Plus'' on PS4, and it sometimes will completely knock out the system sound, but is usually fixed by turning off and back on again

* Okay, this is about a specific show: Firefly. So, why do you have to have Hulu Plus to watch episodes 1-8 and 14 and the rest you can just watch without having to pay?

** In Canada, it is because the exclusive rights to distribute most of the titles that Hulu offers are held by companies based in Canada, such as Bell Media, Rogers, etc. Those companies have no ownership interest in Hulu, and defend their exclusive Canadian rights very forcefully (see [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simultaneous_Substitution Simultaneous Substitution]] on TheOtherWiki), so if Hulu tried to give Canadians any kind of access, those Canadian companies would very quickly bury Hulu in lawsuits.

* Why the hell is Hulu such a bitch to ''actually watch stuff on''? I'm trying to watch the new episodes of [[{{Naruto}} Shippuden]] they've got up, and I've been plagued with error messages and ridiculously slow load times. I've encountered the problem several times before, and I'm fairly sure my internet's good enough for it. Anyone else have this problem?

** On further examination, ''{{Mushi-shi}}'', ''Anime/BlueGender'', and ''Manga/CorpsePrincess'' are all Creator/FUNimation titles, and are also available on [[http://www.youtube.com/profile_play_list?user=FUNimation their YouTube channel]]. (I was surprised to find that ''SH'' was Gainax's latest series, and that it's STILL AIRING IN JAPAN. Wow. Maybe I'll watch it on Hulu, just for that.) So ''IkkiTousen'' (GONG) is still unexplained (trying to get the panty-shot demographic?) but the rest are. If Bandai Entertainment follows in Funimation's footsteps, we should be seeing Haruhi and TTGL before too long. Now what about ''{{LightNovel/Slayers}}'' and ''OnePiece''?

* This is more a question about licensing in general, but...why is ''IkkiTousen'' listed as being from [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GONG GONG]] and not Media Blasters?

** Be aware that Hulu is very aggressive at detecting attempts to access it through proxies, VPNs, tunnelling services, or any other tools meant to disguise a user's true country of location. It may be playing Whac-a-Mole with such services, but it does so with unparalleled zeal.

*** They have ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'', ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'', ''Series/{{House}}'', ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'', and ''Series/{{Heroes}}'' among [[http://www.hulu.com/browse/popular/tv?timeframe=all_time their most popular series]]. And I don't think ''ShikabaneHime'' really qualifies as a "cult show." ''{{Naruto}}'' certainly doesn't. If they were going for that, you'd think they'd have gotten ''LightNovel/HaruhiSuzumiya'' or something.

* Do they have a strategy with the anime series they're adding? ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'', ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'', and I suppose ''Manga/DeathNote'' are pretty clear. ''Anime/SpeedRacer'' and ''Anime/AstroBoy'', I guess they're trying to hook the older crowd. But the rest - ''Manga/IkkiTousen'', ''Manga/{{Mushishi}}'', ''Anime/BlueGender'', and ''ShikabaneHime''? What's up with those?
