* Apparently the Joe headquarters have no alarms and one whole guard looking after the place at night. Also, the bad guys will kill Cover Girl just for standing in the doorway but they won't take three extra seconds to make sure General Hawk is dead.

** That's not FridgeLogic, which JustBugsMe is about, that's an alternate scene. How would he know which one they'd use? Also the Baronness could probably read him like a book and know if he tried that.

* Just what were ''''Pulse weapons'''' suppose to be anyway? Lasers? plasma cannons? rail guns? all the other tech was loosely based of real world stuff. So to have Cobra randomly whip out [[RayGun Ray Guns]] seems a little... ''{{egregious}}''.

*** I think he/she meant that the ''cartoon'' was aimed at children, not the movie.

** I'm pretty sure they were blue in the cartoon, too.

* When the villain threatens to kill his sister in ''Rise of the Cobra'', why doesn't the main character call his bluff? Essentially, say, "You won't do it because if you do, I'll kill you and you value your life more." In fact, that bugs me about almost any movie hostage situation, the villain literally ''can't'' kill the hostage because it would mean their own death and villains always care most about their own lives. Why don't any heroes ever realize this?

*** During Scarlett's motorcycle sequence, she's very clearly ''hit by a car'' while she's driving, but in a clearly CGI moment, she's only shoved a little, and keeps on driving. It's supposed to be BadAss, but it just fries WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief for a moment and throws one out of the film.

**** I always assumed that they were sonic weaponry. The effects the weapons produce (concussive impact, but no/low direct damage to target) are very similar to what I would expect from a high powered infrasound pulse. It would also explain the weird ripple effect and noise they produce and the fact that they are effective in water as well as in air. It's not exactly hard sci-fi, but it's also not completely soft either.

** Unless his company was actually contracted to build nukes, he'd have had to run his own programme in total secrecy. Running a nuclear weapons programme in total secrecy is harder than you think. The technologies, personnel and raw material required are closely scrutinised, for obvious reasons, and if anyone gets suspicious, a transnational corporation is far more vulnerable to investigation than a rogue state. The nanomites, on the other hand, MARS was actually contracted by NATO to build, so any activity related to them didn't need to be secret at all.
