* In the episode, "Totally Rad", the kids face off against Hacker in a skating competition. What it boils down to is that if Team Motherboard loses, Inez has to become Hacker's cheerleader. *** To make this one worse, a later episode, "A Perfect Score" has Hacker holding Inez hostage with Jackie having to dance with him in order to rescue her. The [[UnfortunateImplications creepy vibe]] is ''not'' helped by Jackie's disgust at the circumstances.

* Excess energy from Aquari-yum's seabed will boil the site if cyberslugs don't feed on it. Icky is the last one—the slugs are extinct if anything happens to him, which has very nearly come to pass. So, why is the place still inhabited? It's doomed as far as we know.

** In the "Mothers Day" episode Jackie brings a Madre Bonita flower from Cyberspace into the real world as a present for her mother. The show has established that it is possible to bring living things from Cyberspace into the real world.

** Motherboard is currently suffering from a virus that regularly impairs her ability to think, speak, and act. Perhaps she wasn't thinking straight or acting rationally when she brought the kids in. It's also possible that the productions material itself is an example of Motherboard as an UnreliableNarrator.

** WordOfGod mentions Motherboard specifically conducting “an elaborate computer search of every being in every galaxy for the right combination of bravery, moxie and math skill,” with Matt, Jackie, and Inez apparently fitting the bill. Thus, she would’ve already been deeply knowledgeable about each kid when they arrive. Given the phrasing, the above hypothesis of Motherboard being linked to every computer in the world (and possibly even the ''entire universe'') seems likely.

Added DiffLines:

** Hacker didn’t seem to specifically seek out the kids, as the first phase of his cyberattack would’ve been enabled by literally any random person using the library terminal. It’s still very strange that, if the 1999 plot synopsis is still canon, the chosen kids just happen to be at the same library terminal Hacker interfaces with, or if not that these completely random children are luckily capable of helping Motherboard. Perhaps IndenturedServitude to her as punishment for inadvertently releasing the virus is the most logical explanation.

Added DiffLines:

** They’re on the island in “Lost My Marbles” from about noon until sunset, so if we assume that’s about 12 hours in Cyberspace, that equals about a second at most in the real world (they point at a clock on the wall when they get back.) If we assume this is accurate ([[ContinuitySnarl which realistically varies depending on the episode]],) then they’d probably have to be staying in Cyberspace for the whole of the two-parter since leaving even for a short duration would mean they’d be completely absent for a long and vital stretch of time. [[FridgeBrilliance This may also explain why the kids don’t age much, since they seem to get called into Cyberspace often, and the gaps between each episode would equal way less time in their world.]]

Added DiffLines:

** Digit has apparently traveled to real-world France on at least one occasion (at least according to his own cookbook,) so there is certainly a precedent for the possibility of Cyberspace denizens finding their way out. Serious potential FanficFuel there.

** “Lost My Marbles” along with various show apocrypha seems to suggest that only Motherboard is capable of transporting people into Cyberspace from the physical world, with [[SummonEverymanHero the kids apparently being the best possible combination of smarts and resolve]] she could find on Earth. This is still strange considering there are probably people more knowledgeable about math than three middle schoolers with intermediate abilities and thus could do more to help Motherboard, but it’s an acceptable HandWave for a kids’ show.

** There's also the question of how he was watching them when they were in a completely different universe than him.

* In the episode "Giving Thanks Day," Hacker is shown to have a niece named Harmony. How is this possible? It's been established that Hacker was created by Dr. Marbles, therefore making him Hacker's father. At what point did Marbles create a "sibling" of Hacker who would be Harmony's parent?

** A similar issue applies to Digit's cousin Brigit, from "Missing Bats in Sensible Flats" in the same season. It's also established that Digit was created by Hacker.
* Why did Motherboard recruit Inez, Jackie, and Matt to help protect Cyberspace? A plot synopsis from early production materials claims that she searched "every being in every galaxy for the right combination of bravery, moxie and math skill", but it's not clear if this applies to the final series. The kids were the ones who let Hacker infect her, but punishing them for it doesn't seem to be Motherboard's motive. If the computer search premise still holds, it seems like a major coincidence that Hacker and Motherboard sought to use them on the same day. Does one of them have some unexplained prior connection to these Earth children?
* Widget. Why was a miniature clone of Digit created? The only clue is Digit's character bio on the original website, which calls Widget his ''pet''…
* The first episode, "Lost My Marbles", establishes that barely any time passes in the real world while the Earthlies are in Cyberspace. What is the conversion rate? Are the episodes where they stay in Cyberspace for days or even weeks on end (like "The Snelfu Snafu") meant to be taken literally, or are they going back and forth between home and Cyberspace off-screen?
* Could one of Hacker's goals be to get into the real world? In "Secrets of Symmetria", Jackie mentions the damage Hacker could cause if he brought the Symmetrizer onto Earth, but the comment has little to do with the rest of the story.

** I'd say it's also the fact that Inez is the brains of the group and the one that often keeps the group together. Matt is way too reckless, Jackie is often too hot-headed, and Digit is mainly a DitzyGenius when it comes to most things. [[FridgeBrillance Taking Inez out of the group will make make the Cybergang much weaker]].

** Probably. Motherboard is the guardian of Cyberspace and it's heavily hinted that every electronic device in the real world is linked to Cyberspace. As such, Motherboard is able to listen to anyone at anytime that is close by an electronic device (mainly their computer) which is probably how she knows their names.

* How did Motherboard know Matt, Inez, and Jackie's names in the first episode? It may have been that she somehow heard them introduce themselves to each other, but does that mean that she was watching them at the library?
