Currently, Homer Army is an experiment. He's Homer Simpson with the little trick I found that lets you do a quick

quick Rox Howard Clones mock-up. He was intended to stay that way, along with having Hank Hill-related portraits but I later went back and started tweaking him up a little. Mostly in terms of victory animations, but his drunk self may eventually get new, OTT joke hypers. (That also serve a purpose: If the Homer Army is "knocked out" while one clone is in the middle of a Bash Dash Masher, the opponent will be stuck in the BDM until a debug key is used. By removing all grab-related hypers this problem will be solved... for ''Drunk'' Homer anyway.)

* Actually this is more of a similarity (as both have misleading images, well when it comes to the tiny selection icon), but whatever: Instead of an army of Homers or whatever, the portrait is Hank Hill smoking with his memetic "You see Bobby? Slooooow" face. His win portrait is a picture of Hank's naked butt. The character select icon is a sprite of Hank but this is just a placeholder, since that sprite is from Deviantart and I don't want to release a full character that uses that without technically getting permission. Then he akwardly moonwalks away. Cheesecakestuck itself drops into the level after.

*

* Probably the one that makes the most sense. There's a flash of light, and everyone is now seperated and posing together as a team.
* Turns into Hank Hill, a large image close to the screen (as with one of Dee Bee Kaw's intros), who tells the viewer that what they just saw might have contained some brief nudity.
* Turns into a poorly-drawn MS Paint replica of the infamous "Excorcist Girl," while a lame "Boo!" sound effect plays. The picture does not even take up the whole screen.
* Turns into John (well, John's Cheesecakestuck version anyway), who moons the players, then the character cycles through all members of the lineup, all in the same "mooning" position as well.

* Spongebob (again, represented through bad MS Paint work) dashes into the stage, and suddenly a giant black screen reading "This video has been removed for violating copyright rules. Sorry about that" (or however that message does), complete with the frowning red Youtube rectangle, appears and takes over the screen. This might only be available when the entire match is over, like Dooby Dummy's "New World Order" message.

B is to shield (which can turn into a brief dodge roll or step if pressed down, left, or right; can also air-dodge if combination used in to switch to said other character (IE as Daisy you'd press A+X, B+Y and C+Z still do the air) and C is to grab/throw.same switches.) Doing so will require 1000 power, so that you can't just keep spamming the invincibility frames from switching.

!! Changes From Her ''Super Smash Bros'' variant

* (Asthetic) The biggest and most obvious is that, as the name implies, the skirt part of her dress is missing. This is a reference to a testing feature in ''Melee'' and ''Brawl'' that made her skirt invisible, presumably to test animations better.
* (Asthetic) She's drawn with original-ish sprites.
* (Asthetic) Up-special changed to riding on a rocketing Rosalina and using a hang-glider from Daisy to get back down.
** (Nerf) Cannot move in the air while gliding down, and cannot re-toggle the gliding state after disabling it.
* (Nerf) Pitiful shield power.
* (Buff) Peach Blossom is not available with this character, but it is instead replaced with four hypers that loosely correspond to her specials.
* (Nerf) Vegetable is always a new face that does rather weak damage, and instead of carrying it around (despite Fan claiming that it's likely possible within ''MUGEN''[='=]s engine), she tosses it instantly, making it function as a projectile with a lot of starting lag.
* (Buff) Peach Bomber now has Rosalina and Daisy using the move becide her, expanding the vertical range.
* (''Serious'' Nerf) Currently can no longer hover, but an update is planned to give her hovering.
* [[strike:(Nerf)]] (Asthetic) Taunt is her "Aw, did I win?" quote.
* (Notice) Smash attacks currently cannot be charged up but apparantly use their fullest possible variant, and are planned to be chargable in the future. This is not a buff as it is temporary and it could fuck up people used to ''Smash'' physics.

!! Specials

* '''Yeah, Um, Some People Want You Out of NSMB Because Wario and Waluigi or Something Like That''' (AKA '''Toad'''): Y. Summons Toad, which normally does nothing, but releases spores when hit. Counter move.
* '''Ass Tag! You're It!''' (AKA '''Triad Bomber'''): Foreward+Y or Back+Y. Skirtless Peach does the regular Peach Bomber, only with Skirtless Rosalina above her and Skirtless Daisy below, expanding the hit box.
* '''Oh Heck No I Hate Vegitables -- Fun Trivia in SSBB at Least Did You Know that All of These Had Two-Sided Faces?''' (AKA '''Vegetable'''): Down+Y. Plucks a vegetable from the ground. Unlike her ''Smash'' counterpart, she ''immediately'' throws it and the attack is treated as a regular projectile. The vegetable always has the infamous "B^U" face from ''Ctrl+Alt+Del''.
* '''And That is How I Met Your Mother''' (AKA '''Triad Lift'''): Up+Y. Asthetically works similarly to her parasol move, but pulled off in a completely different fashion and has a bit of starting lag. Skirtless Rosalina jumps under Skirtless Peach and uses a launch star-like move to propell them upwards, then Skirtless Daisy hops on Skirtless Peach's shoulders, whips out a glider, and they can glide toward. Pushing down cancels this move. Currently (actually no this character doesn't exist yet), if the gliding part ends or Peach is attacked at any point, Daisy and Rosalina vanish, but a later update is planned to add proper retreating animations.

Pauline? ([=SLPa=])

All hypers use 1000 power.

* '''Forget About Me?''' Z. Skirtless Pauline appears, stands for about three seconds with her arms crossed. If touched, a sequence similar to Sasuke-kun's Kakashi move (only thankfully without the godawful waiting time) will trigger, where she launches an unavoidable barrel spam.
* '''Yes I Chose Them Over Bubblegum DEAL WITH IT.''' Foreward+Z or Back+Z. Gets out a whistle and seven characters who look suspiciously like... well, skirtless versions of humanizations of the Sprixies Princesses will all rush in, one after another, doing a variation of the Peach Bomber.
* '''Item Pluck:''' Down+Z. A roulette looking similar to the Striker Gauge cards (but with the colors flipped: black border with white edges) pops up cycling through items. This is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the game, and can't be stopped manually. However, it randomly lands on one of these, which Peach then pulls out of the ground:

* Gets chased by an army of other ''Mario'' characters; this is an in-joke about "slot stealing" or "replacing someone's slot" used in the ''Smash Bros.'' fandom, accusing characters as though if one gets in, a certain popular one isn't in for that reason.

In this case, Bowser punches the opponent when the attack is called, and Bowser continues flying offscreen while Cheaper Edd jumps offscreen and the opponent is sent flying a bit, then ends up in their dizzy state. This is where things get complicated.

This next part plays out a bit like a ''Mario & Luigi'' game, where the opposing player has Mario, Luigi, and if I'm feeling nice each of them have two palette swaps (in lines of three, in other words three chances to belt each enemy line) standing in front. X, Y, and Z make Mario or a given clone jump, and A, B, and C are for the three Luigis. Goombas and Paratroopas will move over, and the Goombas must be jumped on by a given Bro. If all three Bros. in that line jump ''over'' them, or they're all down, then the Goomba will go to Cheaper Edd's enemy and do a chunk of damage to them. Paratroopas are harmless to Cheaper Edd's opponent (they will simply fly up after getting close enough), but touching one as a Bro. has the same effect as touching a Goomba. Namely, the Bro. instantly falls off the screen and can no longer be used to defend Cheaper Edd's opponent. To avoid depth problems, enemies going after the "Luigi" path are colored green or have green shells, and those that are on the "Mario" path are colored red.

This attack is unique not just out of these [=QTEs=] but out of Cheaper Edd's hyper roster in general in that its duration is entirely dependant on how much power he has, though it requires at the minimum 3000 to activate it. Unlike all of his other hypers, said requirement is not deduced upon activating it, but it instead drains as the sequence goes on. Because of this, when it ends Cheaper Edd will always be powerless, so the move is recommended to only be used as a last resort against other cheap characters thanks to C.E.'s huge reliance on mastering his hypers and other power-dependant moves.

!! The Nepetaswaps as a Whole

!! Burgundy

The first of the Nepetaswaps introduced and distinguished by wearing a heavy snowsuit with a swarf wrapped around her head.

!! Bronze

!! Yellow

!! Lime

The most psychicly-powerful of them all and the last one introduced bar the elusive olive-blooded Nepeta.

!! Olive

By the beginning of the story's events, this original Nepeta has not actually appeared yet, nor was she even sighted among the meteors. The entire plot is kicked off with the rumor that "Unity of the idols" can bring information on her location, and it's implied that she will be involved in the story by the end, but as of now things are especially complicated with Sgrub's introduction.

!! Jade

!! Teal

!! Cerulean

!! Indigo

!! Purple

!! Violet

!! Fuchsia

The descendant of the current holder of the Alternian throne, but she is also easily the moodiest and most hostile of the eleven Nepetas. (In contrast to her ancestors, the ''nicest'' of the twelve.) She's also the only one who is openly bloodist, hating her own ancestor for abolishing the hemospectrum as it is what meant she is the first fuchsiablood to ''not'' be a garunteed heiress in a long time.

!! Karkat Vantas

The main character of the story and the only one so far who does not seem to have a Nepeta replacing his role.

!! The Twelve Sagettes/Meulin Leijons?

A duodecet of trolls heavily implied to be the ancestors of all the Nepetas, including an additional one representing the long-extinct (for reasons unknown, instead of lime) olive caste.

!! The Signless/Sufferer/Kankri Vantas

Anything about this incarnaiton of the Sufferer is currently unknown, but it is implied that he was "born" before the Sagettes were and had something to do with the extinction of the olivebloods.

''Bl:oo<dswap: Guess Whose Getting a Spinoff?'' (Officially abbreviated to "Bl:oo<dswap GWGAS," pronounced "Gwigas," homophonism to "Giygas" probably unintentional) is a pretty bizarre ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' fan fiction that took a simple concept the author emplored on in one of his past works: Bloodswapping is a pretty common FandomSpecificPlot. You take the trolls and have them live with different blood colors, see how that would impact their personalities, quirks, lifestyles, or even abilities, and of course how that ties into the plot. But this takes it in a different direction: What if Nepeta was given the highest blood in the hemospectrum? And the lowest? And ceruleanblood? And limeblood?

As the title's odd insertion of characters may imply, the gimmick is that instead of swapping around characters, most of the trolls are replaced by Nepeta with their respective blood color. Oddly, this includes the canonical Nepeta herself, whose "place" is filled in by one with ''lime'' blood, a caste that was extinct canonically but here that part has been replaced by the olive green she used to have.

Despite what it sounds like, the story is present in a rather serious matter from start to finish, yet it's still clear enough that it knows the premise is silly and runs with it. Yet it also branches out into its own and rather bizarre tale that involves some sort of reincarnations of creation-spirits, and yet again heavily ties into the author's ''360'' pseudo-series.

It can be found [[ here.]] There are planned to be only thirteen chapters in total.

* HoYay: ''Alucard and Kamina''. Well, probably on Kamina's end (the irony being that Kamina is often on the ''recieving'' end of Ho Yay)

* BerserkButton:
** ''360'' Series:
*** ''360 Degree Duck'': Never harm children around Duck. Even a powerful ice person learnt this the hard way.
*** ''That same ice person'' in ''that same chapter'' of that story also learnt that ''mortally'' endangering a member of the 360 (in this case, her own older sister, Red), is a good way to get the entire team to come down on your ass and completely avert ConservationOfNinjutsu. Icesky got her ass whooped by a "minor" member who hasn't even been introduced before this. Keep in mind that "less average screentime" does not always equate to "weaker, CantCatchUp and victims of TheWorfEffect."
*** Blue in general has a surprising number of these, in contrast to the rest of the major team members being consistently more level. In general, most of what Icesky says. Though she has more trivial ones like getting the names of of teammates wrong/mixing them up.
*** Twisting around a usual use of the trope, both Cyan and to a lesser extent Yellow ''hate'' being assumed that harm to them is automatically a Berserk Button to Magenta and Blue respectively. Cyan doesn't like being seen as a passive member to be protected by someone else, and Yellow didn't at first but did after she stopped letting Blue control her around in chapter 2 of ''360 Degree Duck''.
*** Witchita is such a CardCarryingVillain that she hates it when her villainy is underestimated. The top of the list, though, is believing that she isn't "scary."
*** Not to levels of "berserk," but even mentioning Icesky sours Red's mood considerably. Outright claiming Icesky's better than her, however, is pretty much the only real thing that gets her mad.
** ''A Slash of Mortality'':
*** Eve has a few things and habits she doesn't like, but the one thing that ''actually'' pisses her off is insulting Adam. When [[RealityWarper Joe]] begins ranting on about how much of a failure Adam "turned out to be" for not living up to the "character" of sorts he had in mind, she tossed a sword at him (despite being, you know, ''[[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu the god of ASOM's dimension]]'') and sternly told him "YOU ''DON'T'' TALK THAT WAY TO MY BROTHER. '''''EVER!'''''" It's clear that she's not just being her usual hammy self but instead infuriated, since she's usually not this direct. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Or uses contractions, for that matter.]]
*** Mary probably hates tyrant-like leaders more than any other major character, partly because as a kid (all sentient life at that point was only a few kids in a mountain society, so her being a kid leader wasn't as inexplicable as it sounds) she used to be on the path of becomming a pretty mean ruler herself.
*** Joe himself has a huge list, [[HairTriggerTemper frankly.]] Derailing his planned "story" of sorts, for one (which is what about 99.99% of ASOM is on a technical level), the Spring People believing they shouldn't have to listen to him, the Guardians getting his commands wrong, and worst of all trying to bring up his home dimension to him, ''especially'' attempting to analyze why he is how he is if you manage to get his mother's affair on his father correct.
*** The Five Researchers don't have much in common, but one thing they do have is that they hold very high sentimental value to any kind of currency. Knowlingly and intentionally destroying ''any'' form of money (including Teleport Matter, though converting it to material doesn't count ''unless'', again, it's just done for the sake of destroying it) within their sight will have all five on you at a finger snap.
** Fan's own AuthorAvatar is normally a huge pussy who eventually ends up getting killed in all of his fan fic appearances so far, almost always by minor or secondary villains and not even having the bragging rights of dieing to the BigBad. He also normally can't fight at all. ''Normally''. If you attempt to invoke a ResetButton, '''''especially''''' if it's specifically supposed to re-rail events to be more like canon, he ''will'' punch you with enough force that you'll fly through and destroy at least four BabyPlanet[=s=] and essentially wipe out an entire mini-solar system. And if you're a God Tier, he'd spitefully force the clock to read Just even if it was already going to be Heroic (basically both of them still means the dead person isn't going to be reincarnated). If Dead Aradia hadn't tried to prevent Karkat's death in ''Homestuck Rewrite'', she'd still be called Doomed Timeline God Tier Aradia. This is actually based on the RealLife-GPF, who has reset buttons and magically undoing anything as a large PetPeeveTrope of his own. So trying to push a Reset Button will only result in pushing another button instead[[note]]When it comes to other story elements he doesn't like, usually the story itself just avoids them. Though HR is a special case on its own since it's supposed to be of intentionally low quality as a sort of self-satire of his own writing, meaning it's more lenient towards things like having an AuthorAvatar deck another character to death[[/note]].
** From the same character in a downplayed example, claiming any of his stories to be doomed timelines (''Homestuck'' ones) or how they correlate to canon (basically anything, ''Homestuck'' included) will get at least five paragraphs from him explaining why they aren't.

* CrossesTheLineTwice?
** ''Housestuck Hurrcain Crconikals'' is built around this. The Rainbow Crew uniforms would not be as entertaining if most of them were standard SexyWhateverOutfit[=s=], but instead very absurd designs like Highblood simply having a balloon carefully float in place or Mindfang first making herself into a pile of her journal pages before that's deemed "not revealing/teasing enough" and switching to an outfit made entirely out of ''spider webs''. There's also Hank Hill, who is a near-nude fairy that wears nothing but leaves and is treated seriously in-unvierse, which gets even worse when he dramatically removes his leaves with a nine year old right by him (because the leaves were "limiting his power for his own good" and this was a sort of EleventhHourSuperpower, but still, it ''barely'' makes sense in context). And this isn't even getting into how the plot intentionally crosses the stupidity line twice thanks to having one of the dumbest villains in fan fiction history, and he's based on a character who is canonically ''omniscient''.
** ''Hecksing Ulumate Crconikals'' has a bit too. Alucard's backstory, for one, is a HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood where his Bro punched him so hard that he flew across an entire ocean and somehow got "stranded" in England.
** Both of the ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse [=SBIGlets=]'' so far are built on this:
*** ''The Crystal Gems Kicking Ass You Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!'' is, frankly, a borderline TakeThat at suggestions towards the show leaning more towards a heavy action-series that would ideally involve the Gems taking on more traditional BigBad[=s=]. It tries to avoid being offensive about this by ramping up that concept as much as possible via TestosteronePoisoning, so the result is having VideoGame/DukeNukem side with the Gems, military vehicles and explosions everywhere, Amethyst inexplicably being harsh towards Steven and telling him "Get your feels fest outta here this is slightly more serious," and a villain literally named "Dogick the Evil Gem," who is evil for the sake of being evil and, Aizen-levels of unbeatable, and yes, makes her debut by [[KickTheDog kicking a dog.]] So hard that the dog flies into a mountain. And they both explode.
*** ''Steven the Secrets Guy''. One eponymous [[YouKeepUsingThatWord "secret"]] is that Connie's parents are really [[Anime/KillLaKill Nudist Beach-esque]] resistors who reveal this while undressing in front of the whole city in the middle of a dead-serious conversation. Then Connie herself joins, and this is revealed via her crashing into the car wash naked on a motorcycle and ordering Greg to "Get on and possibly strip down yourself." He reluctantly does the former, and they are chased by a freeway's worth of cops who misunderstand the situation, but this comes to an end when '''[[CriticalResearchFailure a red light]]''' causes the cops to spiral out of control and have a pileup so large it puts ''[[Film/TheBluesBrothers Blues Brothers 2000]]'' to shame and has about three paragraphs describing the events. (Surprisingly, without any casualties. Though one of them crashes into a lawyer's house and he (the lawyer) shouts "Oh, JACKPOT!") This isn't even covering the BigBad, a sentient sock whose plan is to blow up pet stores around the world. In other words, the plan is an exaggeration of the literal term KickTheDog.\\
\\
Also, it turns out the cops weren't even after Greg because they saw him riding with a nude girl out of context. They were after ''Connie'' for "driving without a liscent [sic]," because they automatically assumed naked people can't have licenses with them.
** ''SBIG''[='=]s general habit of killing off major characters. Major spoilers. In ''Hecksing Ulumate Crconikals'', [[spoiler:Alucard is offed because a minor villain did not want to face the familiar of his brother, so he set a robotic arm to nuke Alucard. Alucard himself attempts to escape, but finds out that the tank he's been driving around the story with has ''stalled on him'', and while he's dying his BigNo is "mispelt" as "MOOOOO!"]]
** ''naruto the guy with the ninja'' gets away with parodying the "overpowered Naruto Team 7 bashing" trend despite actually overpowering him by A: making him the BigBad (more important of the two) and B: by exaggerating his "new powers" so much that he effortlessly takes over the world. His insults also go from mean-spirited to impossible to get offended by when he eventually resorts to throwing weak attacks at people ''in almost every sentence'' putting a stereotypical Xbox player to shame, and even calls Sasuke "You bitch-bitching bitcher asshole [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking meanie]]" more than once despite Naruto clearly being the worse of the two at this point. (And, despite his base-breaking canonical self, Sasuke hasn't ever actually ''done'' anything wrong here despite starting off as a CardCarryingVillain who "wanted" to be evil before Naruto's world-domination made him change his mind.)
* RageAgainstTheAuthor:
** The only times this happened outside of ''SBIG'' were in a joke and non-canon ending of ''Total Drama World Tour Rewrite'' (where Duncan gets on a bus and leaves to "a fan fic by a different author who would respect him more."), and as a mild plot-point in ''Hair Idealization'' where Catman claims that he can help Leonard leave the THI world somehow and reset everything back to normalcy. They come across some machine that can apparantly alter reality, but Uncle Grandfather stops both of them from activating it.

*** In ''Clothing'', when Satsuki announces a "Surprise round in the King of the Hill Final Battle Tournament" (which is Nui), most of the Elite Four do the "Yep" that [[WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill a certain similarly-named show]] has as a famous OnceAnEpisode part. ** There's fewer and fewer installments where Hank's appearance was not accompanied by him doing something and then trying to explain that it's "American," refusing to elaborate further.

!! The Four Players

(I'm using quotes from the old/current version. Well except Gerald's.)

[[folder:Leonard]]

-->''"Okay, what is this? Sheldon, is this an elaborate prank?"''

* ButtMonkey: The two challenges that involve actual, physical skill (the archery and the desert fight) utterly floor him. He's better in the ''Halo'' and physics quizzes (though he still loses the latter thanks to a trick question about the color of the sky) and does ''decently'' on the rap battle, even if Penny unknowingly damages them a point by spending more of it dissing him and overall giving them a ''negative'' score, however the rap is judged.
* OnlySaneMan: He and Catman are the only consistently sane characters in the story, and the only one who questions all of the weird crap he's put through.

to:

* AntiClimaxBoss:
** After a ''ton'' of buildup (the majority of the fan fic, and it ''is'' one of the longest fanworks in the ''Homestuck'' fandom by the time it's finally finished), the final battle with Doc Scratch [[spoiler:just amounts to shooting him with a light arrow after a weak attack from his part, and the Crew beat him down. There is a showdown with Lord English shortly after... only he gets beaten ''worse'', not even being able to get an attack in before the same process is repeated]].
** The Troll Empress gets some buildup as a major threat through seasons four and six. [[spoiler:After taking down her "Trollcopter" in chapter 20, she's quickly bisected and never actually takes on a single member of the Crew in hand-to-hand combat save for one quick battle with Condesce in chapter 18. She doesn't even survive half of the storyline where she's supposed to be a major antagonist]].

* HoYay: ''Alucard and Kamina''. Well, probably on Kamina's end (the irony being that Kamina is often on the ''recieving'' end of Ho Yay)

* BerserkButton:
When [[RealityWarper Joe]] begins ranting on about how much of a failure Adam "turned out to be" for not living up to the "character" of sorts he had in mind, she tossed a sword at him (despite being,
[[folder:Gerald]]

-->''[[WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldofGumball "So,
you know, ''[[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu the god of ASOM's dimension]]'') and sternly told him "YOU ''DON'T'' TALK THAT WAY TO MY BROTHER.
And if
think you're a God Tier, he'd spitefully force the clock to read Just even if it was already going to be Heroic (basically both of them still means the dead person isn't going to be reincarnated). If Dead Aradia hadn't tried to prevent Karkat's death in ''Homestuck Rewrite'', she'd still be called Doomed Timeline God Tier Aradia. hardcore?"]]''

* {{Determinator}}:

the RealLife-GPF, who has reset buttons and magically undoing anything as a large PetPeeveTrope of his own. So trying to push a Reset Button will only result in pushing another button instead[[note]]When it comes to other story elements he doesn't like, usually the story itself just avoids them. Though HR is a special case on its own since it's supposed to be of intentionally low quality as a sort of self-satire last two canonical episodes of his own writing, meaning it's more lenient towards things like having an AuthorAvatar deck another character to death[[/note]].
** From
show did not happen (evident by his verse in the same character rap battle). He's not willing to kill anyone over an interest in a downplayed example, claiming any of his stories to be doomed timelines (''Homestuck'' ones) or how they correlate to canon (basically anything, ''Homestuck'' included) will get at least five paragraphs from him explaining why they aren't.

* CrossesTheLineTwice?
And this isn't even getting into how the plot intentionally crosses the stupidity line twice thanks to having one of the dumbest villains in fan fiction history,
crush, and he's based on a character who is canonically ''omniscient''.
It tries to avoid being offensive about this by ramping up that concept as much as possible via TestosteronePoisoning, so the result is having VideoGame/DukeNukem side with the Gems, military vehicles and explosions everywhere, Amethyst inexplicably being harsh towards Steven and telling him "Get your feels fest outta here this is
slightly more serious," and a villain literally named "Dogick the Evil Gem," who is evil for the sake of being evil and, Aizen-levels of unbeatable, and yes, makes her debut by [[KickTheDog kicking a dog.]] So hard that the dog flies into a mountain. And they both explode.
*** ''Steven the Secrets Guy''. One eponymous [[YouKeepUsingThatWord "secret"]] is that Connie's parents are really [[Anime/KillLaKill Nudist Beach-esque]] resistors who reveal this while undressing
rational in front of the whole city in the middle of a dead-serious conversation.
* RageAgainstTheAuthor:
** In two different ''[=SBIGlets=]'', a character was implied to [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere try to leave the story alltogether.]] The first instance might have succeeded (he is not mentioned again), but either the second failed or the pseudo-author forgot the fourth wall gag was a fourth wall gag and made it into a plotline. !! Transformation Sequence

Throughout ''[[StylisticSuck SB]][[TrollFic IG]]'', Kamui have had a seemingly unconnected series of activations, though all of them have ended with some variation of the ''Wonderful 101''[='=]s Unlimited Form, where the transformer would usually hold out a thumb's down, then change it to a thumb's up. The Spartans all go by this, as does Ryuko, while Lucky, Satsuki, and the Spider Queen invert it by starting with a thumb's up then changing it to a thumb's down.

!! List of Known Kamui in ''SBIG''

!!! Senketsu

As with his canon self, Senketsu is worn and used primarly by Ryuko. He makes his debut in ''Clothing'' and helps her make it to Evil Island, but eventually the [[AlternateRealityGame fake-author]] forgets from time to time that he is sentient and gets treated as a powerup.

[[spoiler:Ryuko's DNA being imbuted in him]] prevents him from being eaten by the Spider Queen (well, not really, she just hates the taste: she remarks that he "Tastes like badly written angst Hedgehog," a reference to Ryuko's resemblance to Shadow the Hedgehog.) and enters Emergency State, which allows him to assist in using Unite Morphs. For some reason, killing the Spider Queen turns him into a "real boy," (which despite his voice actually appears to be young)

!!! Junketsu

!!! Spider Queen Exoskeleton

As with the Spider Queen being a bizarre replacement of/"one step further" to Ragyo, her exoskeleton acts as her own Kamui of sorts. In her case, it is apparantly psychicly linked to all other Life Fibers of the world, including Senketsu and Life Fiber-hybrids, granting its wearer all of the abilities utilized by all particular Life Fibers. In the Spider Queen's case, this gives her all demonstrated powers, including those of Satsuki, the Elite Four, and Nui.

!!! Spartan Under-uniforms/Secondary Armor Leo

This is stated to be utilized by all members of the [[VideoGame/{{Halo}} Spartan]] [[InNameOnly Time Traveling Force]], but only the 360, [[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann Kamina, and Simon]] are depicted using it (Cortana is outright stated to not have one and Yoko is yet to be seen using one). Underneath the standard Master Chief-like suits is a specialized "last-resort" suit that all members are required to wear at all times while on-duty, to enter an emergency form in the event of facing a powerful enemy and/or the destruction of their squad. Despite not formally being introduced into the 360 2-parter, it was mentioned back in chapter 20 of ''Housestuck Hurrcain Crconikals'' when Rip gives the illusion of the 360 to Jake and tries to convince him that he simply dreamed the prior events of the story, and that was reality.

Pre-transformation, the Kamui itself only appears as a small and highly revealing black thong apparantly connected to a pair of star-shaped stickers. After transformation, these gain a slight tint of the wearer's associated color (EG crimson red for Kamina), and a cape in their color spawns during the transformation sequence. By the end, all transforming members stick a downwards thumb out, then flip it to a thumb's up, causing the cape to appear to explode yet actually expand and have its end go into flames. Said flames are, again, matching in color to what the user is associated with. Whether the color adapts to the given person somehow or it's custom-made to tint in that coloration is not known, though given Lucky's corruption of the weapon it might be the latter.

The transformation is only activated twice in the two-parter, and near the final confrontation of each part. First when fighting against Elvin, Mudobber, and Siri in the Pyramid-replica after the Gunmen were destroyed, and second after finally chasing Lucky down to Planet Lawyer Guy (after Lucky himself engages his transformation). They retain this shortly after Zattrag's reveal, but as his mech fuses with the planet to create an exceptionally large enemy, they forgo the form and try Cortana Gold as means to defend their squad and the planet Earth.

!!! Kamui Kleindschmidt

[[WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill Lucky's]] custom-made Kamui and a modification of the Secondary Armor Leo he used to have. While not officially touched up along the lines of the other Spartan uniforms, Lucky himself added customizations to the point where it is stronger than the Armor Leos. Additionally, it's custom made to only be able to take in Lucky's blood as an activation to prevent anyone else from stealing it. (Though the fact that ''it touches Lucky's skin'' is probably enough to convince people not to wear it anyway.)

Unlike the Spartan Under-uniforms, the cape part of Lucky's outfit is always visible, but lacks the length and flame-style at the end. These return whenever he activates it. The thong, stars, and cape are all colored indigo even when not activated, while the former two parts are black for the proper squad.

Like the other Spartan-related Kamuis, Kleindschmidt does not demonstrate any sort of sentience but is presumably alive and self-aware given Lucky's worry about being "taken-over."

Lucky only transforms with this once in the story itself, but he says "Life Fiber Override!" before initiating it. As with "Unite-Synchronize!" with the Armor Leo, the significance of this is unknown.

!!! Sam Ketchup

[[WesternAnimation/PerfectHairForever Brenda's]] Kamui and clearly named after the joke-video ''Bully La Bully''. As with the joke edit (a parody of 4kid's habit of toning down a given anime's content), the activated form resembles a giant hot-dog suit. Initially. Despite technically being her main outfit most of the time, it is not revealed as a kamui outside of ''naruto the guy with the ninja''. It is unknown if she has similar abilities in ''Fox Crew'' or ''Hair Idealization'', but given the eventual pressing circumstances yet her refusal to activate it if present, it is likely she doesn't. While dormant, it resembles her canonical sailor uniform with a skirt that ends at the waist and fails to cover her lower half, and it is unknown if the thong is part of the Kamui or not (given the Spartan uniforms, it probably is). When activated, the hot dog suit resembles Action Hotdog.

Little is known about Sam Ketchup other than that it can apparantly be worn by anyone, requires little blood to activate, and that it has the power to take down one of Naruto's inner barriers. This was so far only activated once.

Given how Damara's Rainbow Crew outfit in ''Housestuck Hurrcain Crconikals'' is a clear reference to Brenda's, it is unknown if that is a kamui as well. * One of the first rooms contains an "ambush" by a few tough villains. Who will later fight you one-by-one at different points in the dungeon. Unfortunately, they initially don't look threatening: A seemingly ordinary snowman (not even an anthromorphised one), a tiny looking guy with a stick for a weapon, and a PaletteSwap of the LargeHam WarmupBoss. Not very intimidating.

This page contains '''spoilers for canonical events'''. Be cautious. Specifically: ''Kill La Kill'', and possibly ''Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann''.

But it is confirmed that they exist in the ''Crconikals'' world in some way, and Nepeta even opposes them outright (to the extent that she is an unofficial member of Nudist Beach).

** Once again related to TheReveal with Karkat: He's introduced with "Once you find out about this world, it might look like it makes less sense to introduce this character first, but even further down the road it makes ''perfect'' sense."

Added DiffLines:

[[folder:YMMV for a Newer Plan of it]]

* ShockingSwerve: Ultimately a lot of twists got accussed of this, though what takes the cake is the ending to chapter six. [[spoiler:A white-blooded Nepeta comes out of nowhere, apparantly under attack by a series of giant underlings, then transforms into a giant Godzilla-like monster that blows up LOHAC with a plasma beam. From then on out the story is more about finding "Other Ones" that have been corrupted into Sentai-like monsters and reverting the corruption, giving it more of a Monster of the Week feel.]] What's worse is that unlike the other "big reveals"[[labelnote:Spoilers]]Karkat being Olive Nepeta, the existance of Lime Nepeta, and even John's death and Roxy's JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope[[/labelnote]] this has almost no foreshadowing whatsoever[[labelnote:More Spoilers]]On her introduction, Maroon Nepeta has a crude drawing of herself turning into Godzilla, but there is absolutely '''no''' indication that this would ''literally happen'', especially since nothing in canon has a remotely close ability to do this. But there's nothing about more Nepetas than the original twelve. In fact, for the first few chapters you're led to believe that there are only ''ten or eleven'' of them tops, since it tricks the reader into thinking Karkat and Olive Nepeta are two seperate people[[/labelnote]]. WordOfGod is that he had this plot thought up back when barely starting the first chapter in the event that he ran out of Sburb-ideas sooner than reaching a thirteenth chapter, and decided to just go nuts with the story. It also apparantly serves as a counter-argument to defending claims to canon that foreshadowing can excuse certain plot twists or make them make sense within the world. This isn't even the first time Fan has done this, though he usually uses his StylisticSuck works as puppets for that, like [[spoiler:the Jonas Brothers appearing to help attack Rick]] in ''Kids Fight the Zombies'' or [[spoiler:the "Crossover Crystal"]] from ''Act 5 Vs Act 6''.

* BerserkButton:

* RelaxOVision: A strange textual example. After basically losing a bet... to:

As with the Spider Queen being a bizarre replacement of/"one step further" to Ragyo, her exoskeleton
exoskeleton acts as her own Kamui of sorts.

By the end, all transforming members stick a downwards thumb out, then flip it to a thumb's up, causing the cape to appear to explode yet actually expands and has its end go into flames.

They retain this shortly after Zattrag's reveal, but as his mech fuses with the planet to create an exceptional large enemy, they forgo that and try Cortana Gold as means to defend their squad and the planet Earth.

Unlike the Spartan Under-uniforms, the cape part of Lucky's outfit is always visible, but lacks the length and flame-style at the end. These return whenever he activates it. The thong, stars, and cape are all colored indigo when not activated (though change back to the standard black when transformed), while the former two parts are black for the proper squad.

[[/folder]][[WesternAnimation/PerfectHairForever Brenda's]] Kamui and clearly named after the joke-video ''Bully La Bully''.

But it is confirmed that they exist in the ''Crconikals'' world in some way, and Nepeta even opposes them outright (to the extent that she is an unofficial member of Nudist Beach).

Just an idea, nothing that'll really be acted upon anytime soon:
* RelaxOVision: A strange textual example. After basically losing a bet... ''to himself'', he finally wrote an explicit fanwork for Archive of our Own but made a "cleaner" mirror for fanfiction.net[[note]]Which was still given the highest rating due to "A crapload of innouendo[[/note]]. In the latter, all X-rated scenes are replaced with the guys from ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill'' talking about random subjects, on occassion somehow related to the censored act in question. Anything that isn't a full-blown scene yet discusses mature matters is replaced with the characters talking about propane, grilling, lawn care, or something else Hank or one of his friends are interested in. ''Subverted'' near the end, where the original ''does'' have a straight-up conversation about propane, and the edit needlessly changes it to something more ''explicit''. Apparantly the KOTH sequences also doubled as a test to see if the author could "make a sort of story that ''only'' has the guys in the alley," a sort of BottleEpisode. On Archive of Our Own, the ''King of the Hill'' discussions themselves were eventually posted as a seperate story.

# "Peachy" (Every HS character is white, as is Hank Hill and he has black hair. Everything else is the same.)
# "Okay, Fine, Canon" (A1 trolls now have the same color as their A2 stand-ins, guardians and ancestors share the same colors as their respective descendant selves. Counterparts do not share, but the general style has changed to match their originals. Everything else is the same.)

*
* Spongebob (again, represented through bad MS Paint work) dashes into the stage, and suddenly a giant black screen reading "This video has been removed for violating copyright rules. Sorry about that" (or however that message does), complete with the frowning red Youtube rectangle, appears and takes over the screen. This might only be available when the entire match is over, like Dooby Dummy's "New World Order" message.

* InformedAbility: Invoked and played for laughs. Despite being referred to as a saint[[note]]When Kamina asks Alucard "How come it wasn't Hank and I that ever did anything bad to you?" He replies "Because Hank is a ''SAINT''. Seriously." Then again, it ''is'' this version of Alucard...[[/note]], he's the only one of the group that attacks Sasuke's band either completely unprovoked or for incredible petty reasons. He's also pretty rude in general and a bit of a major {{cloudcuckoolander}} second only to Alucard out of his band.

* TookALevelInBadass: He's written to be more competant on average than his depictions in a ''[=SBIGlet=]'' and in ''Hecksing: The Dawn'', as a way of apologizing for those said stories making him into nearly a joke (then again that ''is'' the whole point of ''SBIG''). (Although he still gets taken off guard when Harry Potter randomly attacks him, but there is at least something of a reason for that.)

* {{Expy}}: He is obviously based on his ''Hecksing Ulumate Crconikals'' self, though it's made very clear that this and HUC take place in very different verses.

* StoryBreakerPower: Not as much as Naruto, but if he was actually sticking around with Sasuke's group in the first half, then collecting the elemental stones would be trivially easy.

easy. Or not, considering his incompetance and stupidity.

* MsFanservice: At the very least played straighter than most other characters in ''SBIG'', partly due to this being one of Fan's few works where the major male cast outnumbers the major female cast and because most of the other female characters are brainwashed by Naruto.

As with the Spider Queen being a bizarre replacement of/"one step further" to Ragyo, her exoskeleton

By the end, all transforming members stick a downwards thumb out, then flip it to a thumb's up, causing the cape to appear to explode yet actually expands and has its end go into flames.

They retain this shortly after Zattrag's reveal, but as his mech fuses with the planet to create an exceptional large enemy, they forgo that and try Cortana Gold as means to defend their squad and the planet Earth.

The thong, stars, and cape are all colored indigo when not activated (though change back to the standard black when transformed), while the former two parts are black for the proper squad.
