Even after Eton dies, his method of conducting executions (having the executioner perform the swing with their eyes closed, if the strike connects, the prisoner is guilty, if it misses, the prisoner is innocent) is seen by Hrathen as one last slap in the face from beyond the grave since it [[spoiler:allows Raoden to walk away from his trial an innocent man.]]
