Where to start with ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender''?

* Zuko's three-season-long undaunted obsession with capturing Aang. [[spoiler:Zuko even says that, for so long, his drive to capture Aang was his "inner fire." This is minutes after he and Aang dance together inside a fiery rainbow]].

FoeYay in ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender''

* Zuko's three-season-long undaunted obsession with capturing Aang. [[spoiler:Zuko Aang, thinking of nothing but him and frequently dropping everything to chase him, even if it would make things worse for him in the long run. Zuko outright says that, for so long, [[spoiler:until his HeelFaceTurn]], his drive to capture Aang was his "inner fire." fire". This is minutes after he and Aang dance [[spoiler:dance together inside a fiery rainbow]]. rainbow.]]
** In "The Blue Spirit", Zuko risks imprisonment or death to rescue Aang from Zhao's clutches. Afterwards Aang thinks they could be friends, reluctantly running away when Zuko attacks him. Aang brings this up in season 3 to argue [[spoiler:why Zuko should be a part of their group]], only for Katara to retort that Zuko probably only wanted Aang for himself.

--->'''Katara:''' Aang! How'd you get that? (referring to the necklace Zuko stole from her)\\

--->'''Katara:''' Aang! How'd you get that? (referring ''(referring to the necklace Zuko stole from her)\\her)''\\

'''Katara:''' Oh, that's so sweet of Zuko. Could you give him a kiss for me when you see him?
** As can be seen hilariously concluded here [[http://niban-destikim.deviantart.com/art/As-Katara-s-commands-211618179]]
** One bit that is noted on Avatar's HoYay page (yes, it needs its own one of those too) is that when Aang is having nightmares in season 3, Zuko appears shirtless in his dreams. This would be suggestive enough on its own, but when you remember that all of Zuko's {{Shirtless Scene}}s happened when Aang was not present, and consequently Aang has never actually seen Zuko shirtless, the FoeYay goes through the roof.
* In the third season, there's an episode about Aang's and Zuko's predecessors, Avatar Roku and Fire Lord Sozin, who started out as friends... best friends! All their lives! Who shared a birthday! And Sozin didn't get married and have kids until ''way'' late. Come on. You just ''know'' he only wanted to conquer the world to win his true love Roku back. Too bad Roku was straight, really. So much tragedy could have been averted. If you think about, this makes the fact that [[spoiler:they now share descendants]] hilarious.

** And then someone made a Zhao/Zuko-themed [[http://4eyedblonde.deviantart.com/art/NEMESIS-180405537?q=gallery%3Anoselfcontrol%2F72693&qo=11 remix]] of the HarkAVagrant comic on the FoeYay page...
* Zuko and Katara in "The Waterbending Scroll": "I'll save you from the pirates" indeed. Many a Zutarian, crazy and sane ones alike, have pointed to this scene as the one that officially launched the [[FanPreferredCouple ship]] that would take over a large portion of the fandom, for better or worse. Many [[FanGirl female viewers]] can't hear that line without wanting to squeal "You can save ME from the pirates, Zuzu!!!!!"
** Three Words: North Pole Fight.
* Azula and... just about everyone. Aang, Katara, Zuko (''especially'' [[BrotherSisterIncest Zuko]], or as she calls him, "Zuzu"), Long Feng, Sokka, Toph, Suki... and she only gets this with [[spoiler:Mai and Ty Lee]] ''after'' they betray her. Really, Azula ''owns'' this trope.
** The really funny thing about Azula's FoeYay is that it seems to be almost unintentional on her part- the one time she ''actually'' tries to seduce someone, it [[CrowningMomentOfFunny fails spectacularly]]. WeCanRuleTogether, coupled with flaming hands and a psychotic smirk, apparently ''doesn't'' make for a good pick-up line... [[BrotherSisterIncest unless you're using it on your older brother]].

and sane ones alike, have pointed uses it to this scene as hunt down the one Gaang, eventually using it in the above episode as a bargaining chip. A later episode reveals that officially launched the [[FanPreferredCouple ship]] that would take over it's a large portion of the fandom, for better or worse. Water Tribe ''betrothal necklace''.
** Three Words: The North Pole Fight.
fight was the most emotionally charged in the series up to that point, with the Foe Yay partly Zuko/Aang (they're essentially fighting over who gets to have Aang) and mostly Zuko/Katara.
* Azula and... just about everyone. Aang, Katara, Zuko (''especially'' [[BrotherSisterIncest ''everyone''. She constantly talks in a sultry, bedroom voice no matter the situation, does a disproportionate amount of [[PsychoticSmirk smirking]] even if she's trying to kill someone, and the way she worms her way into people's psyches to [[ManipulativeBastard manipulate them into doing her bidding]] are played [[TheVamp almost like seduction]]. Fans frequently portray her as anything from a {{Dominatrix}} to full-blown DepravedBisexual, and they're only ''slight'' exaggerations.
** [[IncestSubtext Azula and
Zuko]], or to almost MindGameShip levels. When she isn't playfully teasing Zuko (or "Zuzu" as she calls him, "Zuzu"), Long Feng, Sokka, Toph, Suki... him) she's exploiting his fears and she only gets this insecurities for her own benefit, somehow making "brother" sound more erotic than [[VideoGame/MetalGearSolid Liquid Snake]] did. As foreshadowed in a dream where Azula (represented by a blue dragon) practically seduces Zuko, Azula's WeCanRuleTogether spiel in "Crossroads of Destiny" much more closely resembles a FemmeFatale trying to drag TheHero into villainy than siblings plotting conquest. Reached it's peak in "The Awakening", where Zuko decides the best time to confront Azula is ''in her bedroom while she's sleeping'', and Azula decides the best way to deflect his accusations is to get ''way'' too close to him for comfort while wearing nothing but a robe.
** Azula has regular HoYay
with [[spoiler:Mai Mai and Ty Lee]] ''after'' Lee, [[spoiler:but after they betray her. Really, her it transforms into Foe Yay during her VillainousBreakdown. "They'll all betray me in the end, just like Mai and Ty Lee did..."]]

fights Suki, and it's revealed several episodes later Azula defeated her and [[DressingAsTheEnemy took her clothes]]. The next time she's mentioned Azula taunts Sokka (Suki's ''boyfriend'') that Suki is her "favourite prisoner" and talked about how Sokka would rescue her, before eventually giving up. [[PrisonRape Gee, I wonder what that could be implying?]]
** Aang, Sokka and Toph bust into where they think Ozai is hiding, only to find Azula waiting for them. They demand she tell them where Ozai is, and Azula quips "Am I not good enough for you? You're hurting my feelings."
** The really funny thing about Azula's FoeYay Foe Yay is that it seems to be almost unintentional on her part- the one time she ''actually'' tries to seduce someone, it [[CrowningMomentOfFunny [[FunnyMoments/AvatarTheLastAirbender fails spectacularly]]. WeCanRuleTogether, coupled with flaming hands and a psychotic smirk, apparently ''doesn't'' make for a good pick-up line... [[BrotherSisterIncest unless you're using it on your older brother]].

* Ty Lee seems to have a crush on Sokka.

* SequelSeries ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'' has given us plenty of this.
** For a man who supposedly hates the Avatar, Amon certainly has a lot of interesting interactions with her. During their first mutual meeting, he caresses Korra's face and leans in ''reaaaallll'' close, speaking to her in a low, seductive voice. He later [[spoiler:performs a VillainousRescue, saving her from Tarrlok]], and as she runs there's a [[HeldGaze long slow-mo shot of their eyes meeting]]. He also seems to consider her a WorthyOpponent, warning his men not to underestimate her and setting out to [[IHaveYouNowMyPretty capture]] her himself. Finally, in the SeasonFinale, [[spoiler:after being unmasked, he throws one last look at Korra of debatable meaning before fleeing]].
** Tarrlok frequently pesters Korra to join his organization, even sending her very expensive gifts over and over "until you give in", and compliments her appearance at a dance. [[spoiler:Then he kidnaps her, and while there is a legitimate reason given, there are certainly [[CrazyJealousGuy many]] [[StalkerWithACrush other]] [[{{Yandere}} implications]]]].
*** Tarrlok makes a comment in episode 9 about how Korra [[spoiler: ruined his plans and how now he's going to start a new life with Korra as his hostage.]]
** You could also make a case for Mako and Tahno having some of this because of that sexy wink Mako sends Tahno during their Pro-Bending match. And whether it was intentional or not, the only other person who had gotten the sexy wink from Mako before Tahno was Mako's girlfriend Asami.
