* DragonHoard: The treasure vault in the monkeys' lost city is inhabited by a huge python (presumably Kaa) which attacks anyone who attempts to take something from the treasure. When Mowgli explores the vault, he picks up a bejeweled knife because he realizes its usefulness; moments later he is attacked by Kaa, but is able to fight his way out with the knife. In the movie's climax, the ruthless Captain Boon is looting the chamber when he is attacked by Kaa; Boone topples into a nearby pool and, having already stuffed his backpack with [[DeathByMaterialism heavy but useless golden stuff, he sinks to the bottom]] where he is finished off by the python.
