Moved to the Trivia tab.
* FakeAmerican: Greg Bryk as Alexander ''The Juggernaut'' Yount is from Winnipeg.

* HeyItsThatGuy: If you've ever been a fan of ''Series/DueSouth'', you'll recognize probably half of the cast of this film, not to mention the late Leslie Nielsen. ** George Buza, playing the loan shark, has made a career of such roles in Canadian film and television.

* EagleLand: A mix of both types Alexander ''[[RedBaron The Juggernaut]]'' Yount, whose team wears shiny jumpsuits, enters the stadium to rock music and pyrotechnics, and has ''cheerleaders''. Though he's ''very'' competitive and takes himself ''way'' too seriously, he also asks the officials to let Gordon redo a botched shot, and then congratulates him on a good game.

Hot Mom has been disambiguated. Examples not clearly fitting into one of the tropes other than Fetish Fuel mentioned on Hot Mom are being removed. If you think it fits one of these tropes, feel free to readd with proper context. Same with Hot Dad.

* YourCheatingHeart: {{Averted}}. Nothing seems to happen as a result Neil's developing relationship with Joanne, though that could have something to do with the fact that his wife is secretly having an affair with his assistant.

RomanticComedy movie starring Paul Gross and Leslie Nielsen, and seemingly half of the cast of ''DueSouth''. Chris Cutter, once a local Curling legend until he left town without explanation (not to mention leaving his fiancee at the altar), comes back home for his curling coach's funeral. His curling coach's main wish, according to his will, is for Cutter to bring the old team back together to try and win the Golden Broom, the Curling equivilant to the Stanley Cup, as well as for him to reconcile with his estranged (not to mention [[CloudCuckooLander strange]]) dad, famed curling coach Gordon Cutter, played by Leslie Nielsen. HilarityEnsues.
