* FridgeLogic : Missed example in universe, Ed doesn't put it together that the Baptist was watching the game from outside of the room (meaning there were cameras recording it, used to cheat) when he is confronted by the Baptist (who is fully up-to-date on the loan situation) immediately after the game. Understandable though, he was very shaken up after losing.

* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: A massive stinker that is often overlooked is during the gambling scene. To explain,Eddie has 250,000 pounds to begin with. He does fairly well, but foolishly attempts to out bluff Hatchet Harry. When Harry makes a massive raise that he can make, but Eddie can't, Eddie says he can't match that. So as per the rules, he'll go all in and then they'll show their cards. So Harry explains, in a rather polite "I can't be busted for threatening you" way, that if Eddie does not continue, he will be killed. And to ensure that Eddie can continue, he will give Eddie the money. Which Eddie will have to pay back when he loses.
