But Timmy's carefree life takes an unexpected change when he comes across his former StalkerWithACrush, Tootie (Creator/DaniellaMonet), who has grown up to become a brave, beautiful nature-loving woman. While seeing Tootie protesting the plans of an evil oil tycoon named Hugh J. Magnate Jr. (Creator/StevenWeber) to tear down the old Dimmsdale Park, Timmy finds himself developing romantic feelings for her, and he has to decide whether he should keep being a child to keep the fairy family he has known for so long, or grow up and be with the woman he loves. As if that isn't enough, Magnate joins forces with Mr. Crocker (David Lewis) to capture Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof, planning to use them to fuel his maniacal ambition.

Exiled From Continuity is a Trivia trope pertaining to characters being restricted from appearing in adaptations because of copyright issues, and the fact that this film clashes with what the Channel Chasers special said Timmy's adult life would be like means that the live-action films weren't compatible with the continuity of the cartoon even before it entered its tenth and final season.

* ExiledFromContinuity: This slowly started happening to the movie as the series went on, but Season 10's ''Dimmsdale Daze'' officially made the movie non-canon, as it shows Timmy can't have Cosmo and Wanda if Chloe dossn't have them. The only version of this movie that can still exist in the show's timeline is a rewrite with Chloe added in. Sparky probably got bored and ran off.

* ScrewTheRolesIMakeThem: The Fairy Council decides to allow Timmy to keep his fairly godparents thanks to saving the fairy world countless times in the past despite being grown up. This is explicitly stated before in the movie being totally against fairy rules.
