* ImAHumanitarian: The underground society has shades of this, with the unspoken implication that "the farm" is both their disposal of dissidents and a source of food.

to:

* StepfordSmiler: An entire underground town of them, due to their use of clown makeup. Michael also has this effect, [[spoiler: implied to be a malfunction of this particular Michael unit.]]

** It's implied that all dogs can do this. Vic can't believe that the other raider's dog didn't smell Quilla and let him know.
*** Although others like Quilla seem confused that Vic actually speaks to Blood so maybe all dogs can track and be trained to scent women but not all are necessarily telepathic. Then again the committee did appear to attempt to interrogate a dog Vic had untied but it also appeared Vic had both been genuinely confused by the leash and looked to have attempted to communicate without success(we hear no answer or words, just a pressing of foreheads) with said white fluffy doggy so it can go either way.

* CreatorBacklash: Creator/HarlanEllison loved the movie [[TwistEnding except for the last minute]]. [[spoiler:Even though Vic kills Quilla and feeds her to Blood in the original story as well, Ellison treated the ending with a somber tone as opposed to the movie, which played it for a laugh.]] Ellison accused director L. Q. Jones of being a sexist redneck for approaching it as he did.

* OurZombiesAreDifferent: "Screamers", glow-in-the-dark, wailing zombies who only need to ''touch'' you to make you one of them. Sad that we never see them, but this troper has been told that the glowing ones from ''VideoGame/{{Fallout}}'' are going to be your best bet.
