To the general populace, he's [[VillainWithGoodPublicity an altruistic businessman on the verge of ending the energy crisis]], but the second he gets behind closed doors, the cruel, money-hungry sociopath underneath comes out swinging.

However, once confronted with evidence from Nerissa saying that he personally ordered the executions of women who wished to [[TrappedByGamblingDebts escape owing debt to him]], he physically attacks Wolf and attempts to [[TakingYouWithMe throw the both of them down]] the [[PowerOfTheVoid Witching Well]]. He also has no qualms having an AxCrazy [[EvilIsSexy demon woman]] be his personal bodyguard. Also, his codex entry says that he murdered his family to save on living costs. That says a lot.

** Dr. Eggman Nega, Eggman's alternate-dimension counterpart[[note]]or his descendant from 200 years in the future, pick your backstory[[/note]] from the ''VideoGame/SonicRushSeries'' and ''VideoGame/SonicRivals'' is also FauxAffablyEvil in a more traditional way that contrasts Eggman himself. Whereas Eggman's mask of niceness is often [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} eccentric]] and [[LargeHam layered with plenty of ham]], Nega's is less hammy and more soft-spoken, hiding how far more AxCrazy he is by comparison.

Ditto for Big Smoke, who appears to be friendly with a good sense of humor, until it is revealed that he is a self-centered, greedy, arrogant, treacherous, ambitious, delusional, and dangerous hypocrite who only joined the Grove Street Families out of wealth, fame, and power to keep his Crack Empire alive and running with help from the Ballas and Vagos.

** ''VideoGame/KirbyPlanetRobobot'' with President Haltmann is quite similar to Sectonia. While he's cordial and polite when meeting Kirby, he [[RageQuit flips]] [[VillainousBreakdown out]] and all grace goes right out the window once he gets beaten by Kirby.
