* [[BrattyHalfPint Angelica]] of ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'' isn't usually an example, but in the ForWantOfANail world from "Chuckie's Wonderful Life" she becomes one. She also invokes AdiposeRex with a CanisLatinicus sign above her throne.

* Three of the Creator/GeneDeitch-directed ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry'' shorts gave Tom an overweight owner who routinely beat the tar out of him when he screwed something up. It wasn't pretty.

** Grandma Stuffum, an overweight LethalChef who tries to force children to eat her horrible food.

** Roger. Stan constantly reminds him he is out-of-shape, which is mostly attributed to eating all the family's food. Some of his personas are even depicted as obese.
** Stan himself is generally muscular, but some episodes do depict him as plump, which is combined with being a ruthless {{Jerkass}}.

** Peter Griffin's tendency to invoke this trope is probably the most obvious difference between him and [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons Homer Simpson]]. While Homer can gobble down platefuls of food for laughs, Peter's usually only shown in the same context as food when the point is supposed to be that he's a {{Jerkass}}.

** Homer, despite what one may initially think, mostly averts this trope. When 75% of the entire cast is fat -- Springfield is the fattest city in America! -- the fat people come in all temperaments. Everyone who's fat has their Fat Bastard moments, but it isn't always consistent, especially with the NegativeContinuity.

** Eric Cartman. Most notably in two episodes where 1), during his family reunion, all of his family members, save for his mother and grandmother who are thin and caring, are fat annoying slobs. 2) Where Eric from the future, who lost weight and became a better person in general (and wealthy to boot), came to the past to tell Eric to be a good human being. Eric (thinking it was a trick) delivered the generic "screw you" line and said he would stay the way he was, after the other characters were out of view the future Eric transformed into a dirty obese mechanic as a result of his younger self not "changing for the better".

** Patrick occasionally shows traits of this, especially in later episodes thanks to {{Flanderization}}, "Rule Of Dumb" is a very extreme example where he goes mad with royal power.
** Mr. Krabs may also count at times, though less emphasis is put on his rotund build for the most part.

** Barry, Steve's friend, is this when he is unmedicated. Otherwise, he is usually just a FatIdiot.

* ''WesternAnimation/HarleyQuinn2019'': The cartoon's interpretation of the Condiment King is a bit pudgy and spends the majority of his screentime being a complete asshole to Kite-Man.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'': Pesto in the Goodfeathers segments. Of the three pigeons, he's not only the chubbiest but also has the foulest temper. Every time Squit compliments him or gives him advice, Pesto either goes on a rant-inducing slight or beats him up.

** Schlump is the fattest of the three nudist alien scammers who are the antagonists of the first direct-to-video film ''[[Recap/FuturamaM1BendersBigScore Bender's Big Score]]''.

* In the ''WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder'' episode "The Troll" the titular antagonist gets fatter and taller when the {{Proud Warrior Race Guy}}s Wander and Sylvia are with respond to him insulting them.

* Three of the Creator/GeneDeitch-directed ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry'' shorts gave Tom an owner who routinely beat the tar out of him when he screwed something up. It wasn't pretty.

** "Goodbye Gravedale" has a misunderstanding result in Max Schneider leaving his class, with two substitute teachers taking is place who are both overweight and [[SadistTeacher care more about making things grueling for the students than teaching them]]. The first is Mr. Gross, a Jabba the Hutt lookalike whose gluttony is used against him when the class trick him into [[DeathByGluttony eating until he blows up]], the second being a pudgy dragon named Miss Burns who isn't above using her fiery breath to intimidate the kids and goes so far as to make them take 12 tests in one day.

** Bubble Bass is one of the fattest characters on the show, and he's definitely proven himself quite a {{Jerkass}} in the two episodes that focus on him. Fortunately, he is also victim to LaserGuidedKarma in both.

** Rocko's BadBoss, [[HateSink Mr. Smitty]] [[UpToEleven is an even bigger one.]]

* There's [[TheDon the mob boss Mandragora]] from ''[[WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague Justice League Unlimited]]'', a homage to the Kingpin. Not only is he both fat, yet very physically powerful, he's also a repulsive, murderous bastard.

* In ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'', Peter Griffin's tendency to invoke this trope is probably the most obvious difference between him and [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons Homer Simpson]].
