The show focuses on the Slayers gathered at the Rupert Giles Academy For Girls to train them in the use of their new abilities. Later seasons introduce the Cabal, a mysterious organization determined to wipe out the Slayer line, and sees the Slayers dealing with a virus that will infect and kill the entire Slayer line if no cure is found.
