The sequel, A New Day, is revolved around a [[RotatingProtagonist different protagonist]], Eric Grimes, a high school graduate, with little connection to the previous story so far. During a vacation with his family, he was transported to the Mass Effect universe when he stumbled upon a strange artifact. He had to adjust to the strange universe he found himself in. Unlike the Courier, [[ContrastingSequelMainCharacter Eric]] is shy and mild-mannered and is inexperienced in a fight. It originally can be viewed on FanfictionDotNet, but Nord had removed it for reasons unknown.

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: In ''All the World's a Stage'', the Doctor and Jocelyn went to the [[spoiler:[[VideoGame/SoulSeries Soul Calibur]] universe]] to investigate the cause of the Ania in the Fallout world. Instead, they found themselves defending an early 17th-century Hungarian town against a hoard of [[spoiler:Malfested]]. This has brought the attention of [[spoiler:Patroklos]] and later [[spoiler:Nightmare]], though the latter had a different reason.

Nord has also written a SpinOff called All the World's a Stage. The [[Creator/PeterCapaldi Twelfth]] [[Franchise/DoctorWho Doctor]] has been brought to the Franchise/{{Fallout}} universe after receiving a distress signal. He sets out to investigate, meeting up with Jocelyn Song, [[VideoGame/{{Fallout3}} the Lone Wanderer]]. The title references the well-known phrase from Theatre/AsYouLikeIt. Time will tell if additional references to Shakespeare will be made. He has advertised it'll cross over with another setting, which is revealed to be the [[spoiler: the [[VideoGame/SoulSeries Soul Calibur]] universe]]. It can be read [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11715058/1/All-The-World-s-a-Stage here]]. Like his other works below, you can also find it on WebSite/SpaceBattles and Sufficient Velocity [[https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/all-the-worlds-a-stage-doctor-who-fallout-spoiler.363547/ here]] and [[https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/all-the-worlds-a-stage-doctor-who-fallout-spoiler.23816/ here]] respectively.

* AmazonianBeauty: Jocelyn, the Lone Wanderer, is described as being built like a power-house. WordOfGod says it's a literal interpretation of the [[IncrediblyLamePun "strong female protagonist"]] trope.

* DropTheHammer: The Lone Wanderer has a super sledge and makes good use of it.

* NamesTheSame: Lampshaded by the Doctor when he (jokingly) asks if the Lone Wanderer's related to River Song. She quickly says no.
* PowerArmor: Jocelyn wears the [[VideoGame/{{Fallout4}} T-60]] power armor.

* TragicKeepsake: The Lone Wanderer in All the World's a Stage has the Courier's [[VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas holorifle]]. Going by her comments, she thinks he died some time ago.
* TwoferTokenMinority: The Lone Wanderer is this, being female and Afro-Asian (half-Asian and half-black).

* AntiHero: Ethan is depicted as such, between a PragmaticHero and an UnscrupulousHero. To start, he killed a batarian thug, stopping him from mugging him and looted the corpse for anything of value to use. He agreed to work with Cerberus on a project to repair his [[TeleportersAndTransporters Transportalponder]](though he was not happy about it himself), [[spoiler: abandoned Liara and Feron at the mercy of Tazzik when things turned for the worse during their pursuit of Shepard]], and took a Blue Suns Centurion hostage to extract information on Liara's and Feron's coordinates from her comrades. On the other hand, he assisted the [[TheFederation NCR]] during his travels in the Mojave, according to the narration. He was also squeamish working with Cerberus but didn't see much of the choice but to go along.

* DeadpanSnarker: Ethan Sunderland. Most of the time, he made snarky comments on just about everything.

* GuileHero: Ethan has elements of this, such as his attempt to persuade Aria to give him the location of Shepard's body.

* LastBreathBullet: [[spoiler: Christina]] is shot as the frigate's door is about to close by the Broker's guards who hid out on a sidewalk. [[spoiler: She doesnít die, but ends up badly injured.]]

* MauveShirt: [[spoiler: Alan and Christina, though it's heavily implied that Christina will survive her injuries.]]

* MauveShirt: [[spoiler: Alan and Christina, though it's heavily implied that Christina will survive her injuries.]] Christina,

* WeirdnessMagnet: Ethan Sunderland, thanks to his [[VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas Wild Wasteland trait]].

* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Somewhat adverted. While Eric had a decent grasp of the Franchise/MassEffect universe, he was still surprised by a fair number of things there. It was told that he hasn't played any of the games for several months prior to his arrival, which meant that he doesn't have complete knowledge of the setting.
* GenreSavvy: Eric displayed this trope a few times in the fic so far. In one instance when he woke up at the hospital in the first chapter, he quickly figured out that he was in the Franchise/MassEffect universe by noticing a few things that felt off to him.
** Subverted in the prologue when he found himself in an inescapable room with the orb. He was tempted to touch it but thought better of it. But that didn't help him much in the end.

* OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Eric, though he had just graduated from high school and well on his way to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before winding up in the Mass Effect universe.

* RealityEnsues: C-Sec discovered a good part about Eric when he arrived to the Mass Effect universe. How did they find out? By looking at his ID card. See SureLetsGoWithThat below for more.
** Also, after Eric got his credentials, C-Sec brought him in to question him. After they found out he was clean for the most part, they let him go.
