** Not exactly a character expy, but the new Black Knight uniforms are essentially black and silver clones of the A-Laws uniform, with [[CommissarCap commissar caps]] and assorted rank/unit insignia thrown in to make them even more {{Badass}}. Their knightmare pilot suits are also based on the A-Laws' normal suit (pilot suit), but are black instead of green.

** Obviously, Knights of the Round Johann Ernst, Michael Raleigh and Nena Gurlukovich are each based on certain ''00'' characters, while Schneizel's knight, Carta Isenberg, is basically a certain [[MobileSuitGundamIronBloodedOrphans blonde loving, overly hammy Gjallarhorn officer]] that has apparently jumped universes (as well as become much more competent along the way).

It's September 13th, [[AlternateHistory 2017 a.t.b.]] As in the last episode of ''[[Anime/CodeGeass Code Geass]]'''s first season, the [[LaResistance Black Knights]] are fiercely fighting the oppressive [[TheEmpire Holy Britannian Empire]] for control of Area 11, formerly called Japan. However, in this [[{{Fanfiction}} fanfic]], [[ForWantOfANail a small change]] has been made to the ''CodeGeass'' {{canon}}: instead of running off in the middle of battle to pursue V.V. and Nunnally, [[MagnificentBastard Lelouch]] stays until he is assured that the Black Knights are winning. This has [[ButterflyOfDoom disastrous consequences]] for Lelouch, the Black Knights, and Japan.

''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4994784/1/Code_Geass_Megiddo Code Geass Megiddo]]'' is an ongoing ForWantOfANail ''CodeGeass'' {{Fanfiction}} by [[http://www.fanfiction.net/u/70215/Wing_Zero_Alpha Wing Zero Alpha]], begun in April 2009. It is told from the perspective of multiple characters and includes detailed descriptions of fighting (both physical and [[HumongousMecha mecha]]-based). In addition to all the action, ''Code Geass Megiddo'' explores the [[{{Backstory}} backstories]] of many characters, often [[AdaptationExpansion expanding on their canon depictions]], as well as introducing a variety of [[OriginalCharacter OCs]]. The author appears to be quite a history buff--historical figures are often discussed, and [[GeniusBonus the word "Megiddo"]] is [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megiddo the name of the site of an ancient city in Israel]], as well as the origin of the word "Armageddon." [[DarkerAndEdgier Make of that what you will]].

* AscendedExtra: A great deal of minor characters have their roles expanded, compared to their appearances in CodeGeass proper. For example, Senba, previously little more than a LivingProp with a voice in the show, is now something of a ParentalSubstitute and mentor for Tohdoh.

* MeaningfulName: Bismarck's knightmare Bedivere. It's named after King Arthur's marshal, who, following Camlann, was entrusted to return Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake.

* IronicName: The Artorius. Just imagine if KingArthur had taken the place of Mordred (complete with [[DarkIsEvil black armor]]) as Camelot's worst enemy and destroyer. Compare and contrast to Lancelot fighting to ''defend'' Camelot against Arthur.

** The Artorius and the Lancelot. In certain context (especially when you consider their devicers), they're essentially the mecha counterparts of [[FateStayNight Saber Alter]] and [[FateZero Berserker]].

* [[EvilTwin Dark Twin]]: The Artorius to the Lancelot. The former is essentially a black Lancelot[[note]]Though according to the wiki, the Artorius actually predates the Lancelot as Z-00, the first seventh generation prototype[[/note]] with a BadassCape. [[spoiler:Mirroring Lelouch's relationship with Suzaku, the Artorius starts out fighting beside its twin for Britannia, only to viciously turn against the Lancelot once Lelouch returns to being Zero.]]

Added DiffLines:

* LightIsNotGood: Suzaku as the White Knight of Britannia. Though he's not evil per se, his sheer vengefulness runs counter to what a White Knight usually stands for. And that's before one gets into his growing insanity...
** As per canon, Schneizel as the White Prince of Britannia.
