Thus beginneth the ''Infinite Sakurai Theorum,'' the basis of the very first [[http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=125448 '''Make Your Move''']] movesetting contest, laying the groundwork for every other contest to follow in its 7-year-strong life. What ''is'' Make Your Move? At its core, it's essentially an ongoing series of contests for creating hypothetical movesets for the ever-popular Nintendo franchise SuperSmashBros. Not just the usual Nintendo and video game fare, mind you. Movesets are typically created for characters from all walks of media, from TV shows, anime, fan fiction, and even RealLife! Likewise, movesets are judged not by their likelihood of being implemented in future SSB games, but rather showcasing creative flair for designing well thought-out concepts. (In fact, "In-Smash/Sakurai-ian" movesets are somewhat frowned upon.)

* AnIcePerson - A specific example is an Original Character named Kholdstare, inspired by a Legend of Zelda boss of the same name, and made by a member of the same name who happens to be fond of ice-based characters.

* CrimeMagnet - When Von Karma is one of the combatants, a [[TooDumbToLive random NPC]] is murdered during his entrance animation. What makes this especially cruel is that the person playing as Von Karma gets many of his KOs by blaming the murder on one of the [[InnocentBystander other players]]

* SeriousBusiness - Because making engine-breaking movesets that most of the Smash community will never read for characters who will never be put into Smash Bros. is ''totally'' worth those hours spent typing them down. And let's not forget the drama that occurs in the background too... * SuicideAttack - Just slap a 'cide' on the end of the character's name and you're good to go! * TellMeHowYouFight - What every moveset is trying to do. * ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill - Some fellas just can't get enough of this one.

Troping real life people like that isn't allowed, unless they're part of the work themselves. Even then, only tropes that apply to them while within the works are allowed.
---- !!Examples specific to the MYM community: * BigScrewedUpFamily - The community has lots of this. MYM'ers don't get along all the time, but they usually are happy to work together ForTheGreaterGood. * SeinfeldianConversation - Many of the fish in that water tank called the chat embrace this. * VitriolicBestBuds - AND FUCKING HOW.
