** However, he differs from the classic ManipulativeBastard in that is genuinely loyal and honest toward his friends, though he's not above a few lies if he thinks it will help them, such as [[spoiler: "giving" Rhonda his courage so she'd use MBP against Maze.]]

* {{Expy}}: The Moo Goo Guy is this of [[WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles the expanding gel that was used to trap Mr. Incredible]]. Wade even mentions it by name.

* LiterallyShatteredLives: Monkey Fist reveals that when Kim was turned to stone by the Yono and then fell off the top of its temple, he was expecting her to be smashed into smithereens, but was surprised that she was still intact, making him realize that when the Yono's power petrifies a creature, they stone is enchanted and stronger than any other rock in the world.

* PoisonousFriend: During his [[EnemyMine temporary alliance]] with Kim, Grimm helps her in his own fashion, using methods such as blackmailing a [[StrawmanNewsMedia sensationalist reporter]] into backing off his anti-Kim-Possible spin and making Bonnie insecure about her future on the cheer squad so she'll quit acting so obnoxious. A variation on the usual trope in that it's not really motivated by loyalty, just cynical pragmatism and desire to prove his point that they're not so different.

* HumanMail: After the golem situation is resolved, Jade forcibly sends Wade back to Middleton by crate. To add insult to injury, she labeled the crate "[[IncrediblyLamePun Wide Load]]".

* EnemyMine: After Ron and Rhonda are banished to the SpiritWorld in "A Friend in Darkness", the remainder of the two teams join forces to rescue them and to defeat Maze and Monkey Fist.
** Worth noting that it does NOT happen immediately after the two villains banish the sidekicks - it takes a couple chapters to happen. Grimm tries to talk Kim into doing it immediately, and she [[ShutUpHannibal calls him out on thinking she would trust him after all he had done]].

* HonorAmongThieves: Team Probable is a group of mercenaries who hire themselves out to villains, typically to steal something or to run interference while their client steals something. They are also a close-knit group of [[TrueCompanions friends who genuinely care about each other]].
** The [[WordOfGod author's notes]] indicate that this was a deliberate aversion of the common stereotype of villains as {{Dirty Coward}}s afflicted with ChronicBackstabbingDisorder.

* RelationshipSabotage: Some of Grimm's head games are designed to drive a wedge between Kim and Ron by planting the idea that Kim is just taking advantage of Ron and doesn't have any real respect for him.
** [[spoiler:Inverted at the end of "A Friend in Darkness," where Grimm manipulates Kim and Ron into getting back together.]]

* SideKick: Rhonda Fatigable (Ron's counterpart).

* VillainEpisode: "Back to Kwitcherbeliakin" is a Team Probable story, with only brief cameos by Team Possible.

* WarriorTherapist: Grimm, adept at simultaneously fighting and head-gaming his opponents.
